The room is large, comfortable, and well appointed with a queen-size bed and walk-in closet. The room's private bath is across the hall with an original tub. You will be our housemates and have access to the house, and all outdoor spaces.
Beautiful 1920 Spanish Colonial designed by the prominent San Antonio architect, George Willis, who had been head draftsman for Frank Loyd Wright. It contains many beautiful craftsman and prairie elements. One of these elements is the entrance to the front of the house actually being on the upper floor. The bedroom is spacious, airy, and comfortable with a private bath across the hall. The bath has a deep 1920s tub. The home is large and comfortable with modern kitchen, wfi, cable, original stained glass, and a large fireplace. We are conveniently located in historic and diverse Beacon Hill neighborhood with more artist studios than any other part of town. We are 3 blocks from I-10 exit and within walking or cycling distance from downtown. We suggest that you cycle or use the bus to go from our home to the downtown area. It is four miles from our house which is north of downtown to the Blue Star Art Complex which is south of downtown or as it is called, "South Town".
Guests will have access to modern kitchen, dining room, living room, sun room, laundry facilities and access to and all outdoor spaces (small balcony, veranda, and high stucco walled back yard with small rose garden). Parking provided on premises.

We now have had several years of hosting airbnb, and it has been a great experience! We have hosted friends from not only all over the U.S., but from all over the world as well.
About us: We are airbnb travelers as well as hosts. We have walked the Camino in Spain, climbed the pyramids outside of Mexico City, cycled a century ride in Maine, sat in the hot baths in Budapest. We are active cyclists, we love to travel, and we are avid readers. We love local music and art and food and would love to tell you about our cool city!
We have been reading, lately, about hosts that discriminate or guests that feel vulnerable. In our home, you will be made to feel welcomed, and I want you to know that this is a safe space for you to be comfortable.
