My apartment is in Downtown Northport, one block from City Cafe. It is right across the bridge from Downtown Tuscaloosa and a 2 mile drive (5-8 mins) to campus! It is in a quaint little area hidden from the hustle of Tuscaloosa, but still very close to everything going on. Most residents are young professionals, so you won’t have music blaring at 3 am in the room above you. It’s a great place for anyone trying to stay close to campus, but with the amenities of a home.
The apartment is in Downtown Northport, which is a very cute town. It is also right across the bridge (1 mile) from Downtown Tuscaloosa where all of the hotels are. It is a perfect location for anyone who is wanting to stay in a nice, quiet area, but be still be very close to campus. You will have the entire apartment to yourself, including full access to the washer and dryer, dishwasher, bathroom, kitchen (refrigerator, oven, stove, etc.), TV (currently do not have cable, but have HDMI port for laptop access), and desk for any sort of work. I also have a Keurig 2.0 you are welcome to use, and the coffee pods are provided.
I have both hosted and travelled using AirBnB, having good and bad experiences. I know what is expected and will ensure your stay exceeds these.
I do have a security deposit of $100, but I definitely plan on giving this back. This is ONLY for emergencies, if something is broken.
Please do not have people over. This is where I live, so please treat it as you would like your own home to be treated.
