Robin's apartment is nestled in the middle of a lovely neighborhood, great restaurants, coffee shops, close to enough bus stops and stations to get you pretty anywhere you need to go. The nearby Riverside Church (I'm not kidding, it's at the end of the block), sets the tone for the area, but the true treasure is the Grant Memorial, which is separated from the apartment building by a park that I believe will be /gorgeous/, once there's actually green things growing in it. That was the coup de grace for me, but you will probably find the ease of travel and accommdations enough. =] As to the apartment itself, very clean, obviously well kept and cared for. My sister and I felt very comfortable, very quickly. I was so relieved to see there was a tea kettle I could use and, goodness, I could've gotten lost in the veritable library Robyn's collected! The lack of a TV forced my sister and I to, GASP, socialize!! Which I kind of appreciated, not going to lie. All in all, if (and probably, when) my sister and I return to your fair city, Robyn's will /definitely/ be where I look to first, as far as lodging arrangements.
