3BR. 3Bath. Spacious with loads of natural light and was recently fully remodeled. Terrace with unobstructed view of the stunning Andes Mountains. Seven minute walk to the metro, ten minute walk to shopping and restaurant filled Barrio Italia. Safe and quiet in Santiago's absolute best, most friendly & vibrant neighborhood.
Located in Barrio Italia, a charming neighborhood in the centrally located Providencia "comuna" of Santiago, our building is about 20 years old which means that it enjoys ample floor plans, thick walls, and unique design that can't be found in newer apartments around the city.
The apartment recently underwent a complete remodel with new wood floors, paint, open kitchen, completely gutting and new kitchen with new appliances, and updated design. Nearly all of the furniture is new and was recently purchased to furnish our home :)
The apartment is just a 10 minute walk or $1.50 cab ride (or 4 minute bus ride) from two different metro stops (Salvador on the red line and Santa Isabel on the green). It's also just a 5 minute walk from Avenida Italia that is full of unique stores, an antique furniture market, and a slew of new bars and restaurants (Italian, Indian, Jazz Bar, Chilean, etc). Despite its central location and connectivity, the neighborhood is extremely quiet at night and on the weekends, making it very easy to relax.
The apartment, on the third floor, has two functional bedrooms and one small bedroom that's used for storage. There are two and a half bathrooms, a large terrace with an unobstructed view of the Andes Mountains, and ample space to enjoy your stay.
We have some plants and cactus that we'd kindly ask you to water during your stay :)
We look forward to hosting you!

I have a B.A. in Communication Arts from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington (graduated in 2008). I'm the oldest of 4 kids and grew up in Colorado in a fun, laid back college town. My husband is Chilean and we travel any time we're able :) Some of our most memorable trips have been South Africa, Rio de Janeiro, Greece and Galapagos. Right now we are enjoying exploring our new home in the Pacific Northwest.
We love exploring and don't tend to spend much time in the hotel/home in our destination. Just to rest our feet and get some shut eye. We enjoy a mix of cultural and outdoor activities (especially riding bikes!). The hardest part of traveling is leaving our dog, a little schnauzer-like mutt named Ivy, behind ;)
