This is the main Double Room in my home. The room contains a large Double Bed, plenty of space and views to the front and the back of the house. There are 2 central heating radiators. The house is shared with another smaller Airbnb double room which is my other listing.
This room is in a owner part-occupied home. The room is clean, bright and spacious enough for a lage Double Bed. The house is compact, with a good size living room, kitchen and shower/bathroom. Guests have access to all parts of the house and facilities. There's an enclosed front and rear garden, which you can also make use of on a sunny day.
All areas of the house are available to guests, except for the front room when I am sleeping there.

When I am around I am happy to provide advice, guidance and info on staying in Belfast and NI in general. I have lived and worked in the City for many years, since moving there from England and I have a great knowledge of the Social, Political and Cultural history of the City; the benefits of many years in Community Development work in the area. If you would also like a personal walking guide, for a small additional fee, of particular areas in and around Belfast I'm more than happy to provide this if you let me know what areas particularly interest you.

The house is situated in the Graymount area of North Belfast, accessible by regular local bus services, 5 minutes walk from the house. Travel time to the City Centre (3 miles) on local transport takes 10 mins. The area is a settled part of North Belfast, quiet and convenient to Cavehill Country Park, the north foreshore of Belfast Lough for walks and cycling, M2 motorway, local services and Fort William Golf Course. The house provides off-street parking, front and rear garden (South facing) and sits on a quiet cul-de-sac. While the area would have historically seen troubling times during the NI Conflict it is generally considered a quiet area and my own experience of living here for many years confirms this. The house is clean, has all mod cons and would suit guests who would prefer a quieter location while still being readily accessible to the City Centre and other areas. You can leave the house and walk up Grays Lane and be in Cavehill Country Park in less than 15 minutes or down on the very scenic Belfast Lough for walks along the coastline.
I am happy to share my home with you and wish you a warm, interesting and enjoyable stay; I will treat you with warmth and respect and expect the same in return. I'm pretty easy going and don't tend to over burden guests with too many house rules.
Professional working and living in Dublin and Belfast for 20+ years and originally from England. I'm not that well travelled but I've been to a few interesting places in my time. I'm easy going, self motivator and generally get on with most people, irrespective of colour, creed, gender, politics, etc. I enjoy reading, live music and seeing what's around in the world I inhabit. I'm vegan, which is very important to me as an ethical lifestyle choice. I enjoy a good laugh, socialising and meeting new people. I'd be confident that you'd find me a pleasant, interesting and respectful guest in your home and host while you're visiting.
