Only 2 miles from the quaint medieval town of Sandwich and St George’s Golf Club, 12 miles to the city of Canterbury and 16 miles to the White Cliffs of Dover. This countryside stopover offers a rural location a stone’s throw away from Kent’s major features.
The house is a time capsule from the 1950s but provides all you need for a comfortable stay.
All bedrooms are in their original cottage farmhouse style, as with the rest of the house.

Cosy sitting room, TV and fireplace, with small adjoining dining room that seats 8 people. Country kitchen with all amenities, aga, fridge/freezer, larder. Small downstairs toilet with separate sink and open plan shower room.
Twin room and single room with views onto the back of the garden. Family bathroom including bath tub. Large selection of books from the classics to a multitude of books on the Kentish countryside.
The house is set on a quiet working farm with sixteen sheep, an apple and pear orchard, and two paddocks. There is also an enclosed garden with a built in barbecue and a table and chairs for summer months.
A basic continental breakfast is provided to all guests, including tea, coffee and juice. A picnic hamper can be ordered 24 hours in advance for guests to take with them on walks, and a dinner can be provided also on a 24 hour notice.
I am currently renting out rooms at the farmhouse that has been in our family for over 50 years. I have recently graduated from Cardiff University and am pursuing a career in Speech and Language Therapy.
