Awesome service and outstanding place to stay! Loved the nightly smores, the coffee and tea and really dug the fact that the tent is as cared for each day by the staff. Our wood was refilled daily, the wooden stove was cleaned out and they went above and beyond in helping me surprise my girl every day with fun gifts brought to the tent. This place creates a new place to stay away from home that isn't camping and isn't hotel. Not sure if glamping captures the experience but is close enough. Be aware that your food brought from home to grill has to be done in the community area!

Once we found it..... it was amazing. But to all future Under-Canvas-goers here are the directions on how to get there. If coming from the town of Moab, north on Highway 191, look for a small road sign on the right the says Moab Under Canvas, this will take you on a dirt road which leads up to the site. It is AFTER the Archview RV Resort & Campground.

First of all, this is a commercial establishment and ran like a hotel with employees and reception area not a creative home owner trying to make money with their property. And I would like to say that over-all we enjoyed it and would probably stay there again or their other location and maybe even recommend to a friend because it is truly a novelty of an experience. The location is not that hard to find either. However, what I would say is of you want to stay in this place, book it on their direct website and not in AirBNB. The owner Sarah does not communicate to her staff in the property regarding booking she makes on this site and I say this cause we are not the first guests that reviewed this property mentioning the miscommunication about booking. Kudos to her staff on how they handled it, us arriving without them having any clue that we have booked, I had to show and email then my confirmation while they try to maneuver other bookings to accommodate us. We ended up having to use different tents on the 2-nights we were there and just to try and make it up, they offered us free breakfast delivered to our tents both days. You see, I was upset cause we are a host as well and even when we on vacation, we address our guests needs which is the beauty of the sharing community, the personal attention. I messages Sarah after what happened and I didn't even get a response. What would have happened if they were fully booked and we arrive tired after driving all day? The owner needs to communicate bookings she made through AirBNB To her stuff on site! And then, on top of that... There's construction for an event area for a wedding happening this weekend that start at 7am! Mind you, these are tents with no sound insulation at all. This should have been communicated to guests before they arrive, so guests have an option to cancel if they are not ok being woken up by hammers during a supposedly "wilderness experience"... Now, without the booking fiasco and construction disturbance, the only other not so good thing is tge highway noise, it's not as remote as advertised. But the views are spectacular, star gazing at night is phenomenal (you can see the Milky Way) and the tent is pretty comfortable and spacious. We got the deluxe with it's own bathroom and real toilet and hot shower with good water pressure which made it super convenient. There's no electricity in this place, so charging your electronics is done at reception. Goud cell service in the area though and near lots of attractions in Moab. The owner is lucky she hired very competent people.
