Room N° 1:
Come into the abyss, for a night - or a week.
The room is quiet, soothing and surreal .. The all black errthang completely envelops you in it's depth. Queen bed, million thread count sheets, furs and photos .. and as usual, access to all common areas and bar!
Built in 1848, this magnificent property boasts 2,000 square feet in the historic Northern Liberties area. Once titled the “Workshop of the World" and is still one of the city's most culturally and architecturally unique. The Nativist faces the once massive Schlitz Brewery (Now the Commons). Decorated with beautiful vintage modern furnishings as well as a repurposed and rotating art collection from local artisans. 19th century industry meets 21st century living.
As a guest, you will enjoy relaxed yet attentive service in an atmosphere of quiet, understated luxury. Breakfast is prepared daily using seasonal local and organic ingredients. The location is perfect as a destination, a retreat or a communal outpost for the working, creative nomad.
You will find silence and solace in the middle of the bustling metropolis that has become Philadelphia. Within 5 minutes walk of the heart of Fishtown’s The Fillmore, Johnny Brenda’s, Fette Sau, Frankford Hall and the Piazza - but on a residential block hidden from the bustle. We are one block from the Girard station of the El, which is just minutes from Center City, Rittenhouse Square and the Avenue of the Arts.
Please note that a continental breakfast is provided daily and arrangements may be made for full brunch -- prix fixe $15.00
(advance booking required).
