A modest, but cosy, two bedroom home nestled in a private cliff-top corner surrounded by stunning nature. Experience what guests have described as 'spectacular', 'one of a kind', 'breathtaking', and 'magical' views.
Coromandel Bay-view experience is a sunny, cliff-top bungalow with two double bedrooms, an open plan living area, two decks, and a newly renovated bathroom. It's located on a peninsula overlooking two bays and the Pacific Ocean. Watch the sun set over distant islands and enjoy NZ nature at its best. For those driving, there is ample parking for the car and it is located only a short drive (5 minutes) along gorgeous coast line to historic Coromandel Township.
Close by is Wyuna Bay, which is a lovely swimming spot at the end of the road, or take a walk to the Long Bay Beach (about 25 minutes).
For those wanting to shamelessly chill, we have a growing library of DVD's and books, wireless internet, a gas bbq, and a Breville infuser coffee maker. The kitchen is well equipped and chef friendly with a herb and spice rack to get creative with. Kick back, relax and enjoy the ever changing views!
Our super friendly and knowledgable property manager, Diane, has an office in Coromandel Town; organizes the key pick up and drop off and is on call to help. We also have a lock box where the key is kept securely at the property for those who would rather go directly to the house. Upon arrival, there is a folder that explains different aspects of the house and has tons of ideas of what to do in town and further afield.

There is a two day minimum stay on this property, however for guests wishing to stay one night please inquire about availability and extra costs.
To help keep costs down we would appreciate it if guests could leave the house tidy. The carpet is also new and we'd love it if guests could remove their shoes inside the house. Thanks, d&p
Pete and I are professors based in Japan, and while we are away from home, it brings us much joy to open our house to airbnb guests from NZ and afar. I grew up in Auckland, NZ and Pete hails from the U.S, and although there were many great places in NZ to settle, we both fell in love with Coromandel Town on a visit in 2013. It quickly reminded me of the NZ I knew growing up, and we are excited to share this experience with you. As the gates close, Pete and I hope you find a restful place where daily stresses are left behind, and where precious life-long memories are made with your favorite people.
