What makes the Lyon's Creek United Church property so special is its history as the last refuge of the British soldiers on the last night, before the last battle on Canadian soil between the British and Americans in the War of 1812 - The Battle of Cooks Mills. Lyon's Creek was transformed from a country church into a luxury living space in 2016. Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, Wine Country, Lake Erie... and all they offer are a short drive away. There is something for everyone in Niagara.
5 minutes from the QEW makes this retreat easy to get to. 200 years of history makes Lyon's Creek interesting and 2700 sq ft of renovated luxury make it easy to enjoy
Everywhere except my bedroom and ensuite.

There are two bedrooms in the church regularly on Airbnb. Lyon's Creek Church NF, Oak Tree Room and Lyon's Creek Church NF, Sunday School Room. This listing, Historic Lyon's Creek Church Niagara Falls is for both bedrooms. The calendars are synced.
It's a bit confusing. The mailing address is Welland but the property is actually in Niagara Falls. You can see the mist from the Falls from the front door.
A third bedroom, Suite Retreat Niagara Falls is rarely available.
Pets and events are allowed depending on the pets and the events. If your pet sleeps on the bed with you please bring your own blanket for them. Thank you.
I purchased a lovely, historic church in Niagara Falls south in 2016 and spent the past year transforming the space into a uniquely fabulous home. As an English as a Second Language teacher I have traveled extensively and it has been my pleasure to meet many, many wonderful people from every corner of the world. I currently run my own English language company, these days I do most of my teaching online.
My four children have grown and gone. My four grandchildren visit regularly and my career before teaching was training horses.
I collect board-game dice and I have thousands of them (but not at my house). I am a Nancy Drew and Murder She Wrote fanatic.
The Niagara region is a beautiful area with a rich history that I have enjoyed learning more about and being a part of as my home played a small role in the closing days of the War of 1812.
I look forward to sharing this special place with guests.
