A few kilometers to Egmont, the famous Skookumchuck Narrows & the ocean! For a true get-a-way this is the place! Taking bookings again beginning March 2018.
Includes 2 cottages for your use. Base price is for 2 people using the main cottage which has one bedroom. Additional guests may book the sleeping cottage (share kitchen with main cabin). Sleeping cabin will only be booked if the main cabin users want to extend sleeping space so do not worry a different family will be using it while you are there. Your privacy is important and respected.
The small and cozy main cabin has a large view deck, ample seating, BBQ, fully equipped kitchen, private bedroom with a double bed, living room with a large L-shaped sofa which creates two single beds by simply removing the back cushions. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and hot shower.

This cute little cottage has a queen log bed and a ladder takes you to the small loft above. The loft has a double and a single foam mattress with enough room to sit, but not stand. It has a fantastic bird's eye view and a sky light. This little cottage has it's own private deck with seating and a view. It has an outhouse and a rustic outdoor sink to make you feel part of the surrounding nature, but just down the stairs you have access to the indoor bathroom of the main cabin.

Другие важные подробности
This is a unique place as it is surrounded by nature, has rustic charm, but is very clean and comfortable.
To help keep the price down we offer a discount per stay: No cleaning fee if you provide your own sheets and towels and clean the cabin after your use. (We provide blankets and pillows) Since the cabin is remote it does not have laundry facilities and we must hire someone to take the linens to the nearby town to launder it. This gives you a chance to save some money and bring your own linens if you like! We can also work out a discount for cleaning it yourselves and I supply the linens.
Our price includes the main cottage. There is a maximum of 4 adults. 2 of them using the 2 single sofa beds in the living room and 2 in the double bed in the bedroom.
The cottage is on a hill and has stairs. Access to the lake has new stairs and the hand railing is still in process so you must be a confident walker on stairs, but they are easy stairs to climb.
The cabin has a land-line telephone for your use of local calls and emergency numbers. Sorry, but you must go a few kilometers to town or the corner of the street or sometimes the end of the dock to access cell phone coverage!
Close to Skookumchuck Narrows hike and kayak destination, town of Egmont with a marina, ocean boat rentals, scuba diving, sea fishing, boat tours to Chatterbox Falls, Sun Coaster trail entrance, Klein Lake Forest campground and the ferry to Powell River. There are lots of outdoor things to do in the area!
Open the door and begin your scenic walks; trail guide book to the area is provided at the cottage.
Cabin is fully equipped, basically you only need your clothing and food.
Coffee, tea and spices are provided.

My husband and I have been living and traveling overseas for the past 12 years. We love meeting new people, learning about new cultures and the country we are staying. We like to join outdoor activities, hiking clubs, meeting for dinners and trying new things. We travel using all forms of transportation from planes, trains, and buses to camels, water buffalo and elephants. We stay in a mixture of accommodations, often using Air B and B, hostels, nice hotels and have slept on a floor or two as well; all depending on the location of the place and where we are traveling. We have decided to nest for awhile and open our own home to travelers like ourselves. We're looking forward to offering some hospitality in return for all the wonderful meet ups we've had while abroad. Looking forward to meeting you!
