Hillside aerie with deck and views! Located in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, guests have access to their own private suite, on its own level separate from our quarters upstairs. This urban hillside is no more than 15 minutes from Pasadena, the Arts District, Downtown LA, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, and the USC Health Campus and Keck Medical Center. Spend mornings sipping coffee on your own tree-lined deck, while marveling at the hummingbirds!
The space is a one bedroom, one bath private suite with its own separate entrance. My partner and I live upstairs in the main house. In addition to the room, guests will have full use of the large deck just outside their door. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and hot pot. We also provide clean linens, bath towels, and basic toiletries for your convenience.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the unique hillside nature of the property, the house can only be accessed by climbing a flight of stairs (pictured in the photos.) Parking is on the street and the sidewalk leading up to the house is above street level.
Located above one of Montecito Height's main thoroughfares, guests can expect some mild traffic noises from the street below.
Guests will have access to their room and the outdoor deck.

As a Midwest (Chicago area) transplant living in L.A., I've grown to love my new digs in Southern California. I live with my partner and our cat as we embrace all the joys and snags of first-time home-ownership . Before L.A., I lived and worked for a year in Ecuador. I've also spent time in India. For work I clock-in at the communications department for a national animal rights organization, and in my free time I enjoy hiking and backpacking the beautiful mountains which surround our city.
I love traveling and my M.O. is light & local. I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing neighborhoods through the lens of those who live there. As a host, I can be as involved or invisible as the guest prefers. I'm happy to trade traveling stories over a glass of wine or provide recommendations and suggestions on local attractions.
All walks of life are welcome on our property and we are excited to host fellow travelers. If you have any questions about me, our listing, Los Angles, or our cat, just ask!
