Entire loft. Want a real Detroit experience?
If you'd like a taste of how people outside of the New Detroit developments live, you'll have to be ready for a something slightly less luxurious. My spot is the last standing loft in Corktown that hasn't been torn down/gutted by developers...yet. Straight to the point the exterior is off putting (that's putting it nicely) however the interior of my loft is a special nook (high ceilings & huge windows) that I am delighted to call home.
Beautiful and bright, you can catch gorgeous sunrises/sunsets and the bridge to Canada lights up for a lovely view at night.
You couldn't ask for a better location being a stone's throw away from the restaurants and bars of Corktown and downtown is only about 1 mile away.
Bike rental is 2 blocks down the street.
No AC so please be aware it can get hot especially on very hot summer days, but usually in the evening the loft is quite comfortable, no TV or wifi, but I have a piano you are most welcomed to play.
The loft is rustic, bare bones and beautiful.
Coin laundry on 2nd floor.
Help yourselves to tea.
I'll have a list of recommendations of places of interest. I love Detroit and I'm convinced you'll have a unique and lovely experience here as well. Check out @DetroitWealth for a little taste of the things and folks that make this city a uniquely rich place to visit and live!
I love my neighbors so please be respectful of noise after 11pm please.

Make yourself at home and use the kitchen as much as you'd like. Please wash and put away all of your dishes and clean up all messes made.
Please do not sleep on the blue velvet sofas. The brown sofa is the pullout sofa bed and you are welcomed to use it (it's more comfortable anyway )
I was born in the exotic town called "Warren" Michigan. Lived abroad for the whole of my 20's and 4 years ago I moved back to Detroit. It is a uniquely special place. I still enjoy traveling as much as I can and I also enjoy giving people a great first impression of Detroit. People have been very hospitable to me throughout my travels and I enjoy showing the same kindness.
