Stone house in a secluded Mediterranean hamlet.
Montbrió was once a Christian bastion at the frontier with the Arab dominated Spain during the middle ages. There is no through traffic and the dirt tracks out of the village lead to vineyards enclosed by Mediterranean forests. A great place to enjoy walking, mountain biking or rock climbing, but most of all, to enjoy the tranquility of such a singular location.
Just the necessary creature comforts to keep body and soul together. Wood stoves with plenty of wood to keep the house warm in winter and the original distribution intact with low ceilings and uneven floors which may not suit some. A great place for those not seeking modern automated technical comforts but are happy to sit by the fire while enjoying a glass of wine and a good book.
