I was apprehensive about booking this place at first because it didn't have any reviews. After looking at Martin's profile and reviews from other homes, I decided to message him and I'm so glad I did! The space is stunning, and the view is incredible-- you can see all of Miami. The vaulted ceilings make this place feel huge. I think the bed is a california king, super comfortable too. All of Martins decorations were really intriguing. He has tons of books and it looks like a lot of decorations from places he's been. The kitchen is fully stocked which was nice because we cooked a lot. He has two bathrooms which was great when we both were getting ready. It has a loft feel but still that Miami beach vibe I was looking for. The location was actually perfect for us. We didn't want to stay on South Beach, and his place was only about 15-20 mins from there. We stayed over the 4th of July and had a perfect view of the fireworks over the bay. You can also see all the cruise ships docked (along with Star Island and all the yachts). We were only 10 minutes from Wynwood (another cool area you should check out if you are in Miami) and only about 5-7 minutes from Brickell. Super centrally located which was nice, so we could drive or it would be a cheap uber. There is a Publix and Whole Foods close along with some good restaurants and coffee shops -- and a few liquor stores. It's right next to public transportation. You can walk to the convention center and the Bayside Marketplace. I always felt safe in this area of town too, the building is gated and secure. The pool is a little small but we didn't care... we can swim at home, you're in Miami.. go to the beach! It was still nice to cool off in after our day. FREE PARKING was awesome! The garage is literally right next to his place and was a great amenity especially in Downtown Miami where parking can be upwards of $40 a day. Overall, my stay at Martin's place was nothing short of amazing and if I come back to Miami I would love to stay here again!
