We live in an ideal location. It is walking distance to the lower town of Gibsons. There are cafes, restaurants, quaint shops, art galleries, and an interesting harbor with fresh fish sold off the boats. This area offers many events including a Writer's Festival, Sea Cavalcade, Free outdoor live music on certain days. We welcome people of all backgrounds to visit! Gay and Trans-gender friendly.
Your room is small, cozy and efficient with a locking door. New double bed with memory foam topper, desktop computer for netflix, coffee maker, kettle, garden view, spacious desk, & cupboard with hangers. There is a small fridge in your room, we welcome you to prepare your own breakfast.
Private bathroom down a few steps has bath tub and shower. Freshly brewed coffee will be ready for you in the morning and please feel free to use our kitchen if you wish to prepare breakfast or lunch etc. There are also lots of great breakfast cafes in the lower town with a wonderful view of the sea and mountains.

You are welcome to enjoy common areas, spacious view living room, balcony with view of sea and North shore mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, use it and clean up! There is an organic garden (in season), munch on some fresh veggies or sit on one of the outdoor handmade benches. Have some wine on the view balcony and watch the sun set.

I am an avid (slow) hiker. My inspiration as an artist comes from the beautiful local rainforest. I paint on silk and am always delighted to show my creations.
My partner, Ivan, is a silversmith and has a shop on our premises. He is casting silver and bronze creating lovely organic forms and original silver and gold jewelry. He would be delighted to show you his studio.
I offer classes to groups or individuals and teach different methods of painting on silk. I teach how to use gutta as a resist and also how to use special salt to create texture and patterns.
Come make a silk scarf or silk painting! It could be your special souvenir. We are both creative, often involved in preparing for craft shows or busy crafting the artistry we will later present.
I enjoy traveling and have visited over 60 countries and lived in 4. I taught ESL in China, Thailand, Mexico and Indonesia.
I am a professional ESL teacher and offer a weekly discount to guests who would like to take ESL lessons daily. My classes are tailored to the needs of each student. It is also a great base for exploring, cycling, walking and swimming in either the sea or one of the many lakes.
