Welcome to this Mallorcan manor house of 420 m² built in the 18th century in the historic center of Felanitx which sleeps up to 7 people.
This impressive home is a magnificent example of Mallorcan architecture which has retained historical and traditional elements till today. It forms a part of the Catalogue of Properties of Architectural Heritage. Moreover it is located in the historic center of Felanitx directly facing the Square of Santa Margalida and the Church of Sant Miquel.
The house has 4 bedrooms divided on two floors: a bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed and a bathroom in suite. The bedrooms on the first floor have the following distribution: one has one double bed; one has a single bed; and one is equipped with a double bed and an en suite bathroom. Moreover, the latter has a terrace overlooking the courtyard. All rooms have enough space for a cot. They are 3 bathrooms: one on the ground floor and two on the first floor. As mentioned, two of them are en suite. All feature showers. Altough there are beds for nine people, we only offer this accommodation for seven guests.
For summer months the architecture of the house allows a natural air conditioning. To complement it, the house has four fans. For colder months the house has a fireplace, three electric heaters and a gas heater that can be placed wherever most needed.
The house has a charming kitchen which is very well maintained and equipped till the last element one needs for cooking. Among the equipment you will find blender, microwave, fridge with freezer, gas hob, electric oven, toaster, dishwasher, coffee machine and juicer. Besides, there are washing machine, ironing board and iron.
The dining room is situated in an ideal place if you want to feel immersed in the history. The decoration of the house is well kept and shows a lot of respect between functionality and history of the place.
They are 3 living rooms, one per floor. The one downstairs is very cozy and has a dual function of living room and / or bedroom annex. The living room on the first floor is equally admirable and offers great views over the square from its balcony. On the second floor there is a quiet studio appropriate for those who seek inspiration. In all three rooms you can use comfortable sofas to relax or to read a book in the extensive library of the house. The house is equipped with TV and Wi-Fi.
The courtyard is amazing, warm and endearing. It is a Mallorcan courtyard which keeps a ancestral tradition as a summer meeting point for the house inhabitants. Curiously, the walls are finished with lime pigment, a Mediterranean construction method.
The surroundings of Felanitx are great for walking or biking. Being in the center of Felanitx provides you with all services as it is one of the most important cities in the Migjorn (South) of Mallorca. In 15 minutes you reach beaches and coves like Porto Colom or Cala Marcal. The Natural Park Es Trenc and typical villages like Santanyi and coves like Porto Cristo, Cala Ferrera, Cala Santanyi, Cala Figuera are 25 minutes away. The Golf Vall d'Or is in 15 minutes by car.
Note: The rental of this property is based on the Spanish Law on Urban Leases ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)th November). According this law the property is available for seasonal renting. However, the contract does not offer any tourist service. It is only for the use and enjoyment of the property.
