This house is our family home. For this reason it's only rarely available on AirBnB, but we hope our years of experience as home exchange hosts will enable us to provide you with a special experience. We aim to maintain the warmth and personality of our home for our guests: if you stay here, you'll experience Brighton like a 'local'.
We provide our guests with a manual, with lots of information about the house and the neighbourhood.
If you like exploring the food culture in places you visit, this is the house for you. The well-equipped kitchen includes a gas cooktop with 5 burners, a large electric fan oven and a Rayburn range with a hotplate and two additional ovens. You'll find lots more information about local food or shopping in the manual. If you've got particular questions, let us know when you book. We're happy to help.
If we are in town when you arrive, we'll meet and hand over the keys. If you want to check in late or we are unavailable when you arrive, we use a lock box: we'll advise you of the location and combination shortly before the start of the booking.

If you come by car, be careful where you park. The closest side-street has free car parking and no time limits. The street in front of the house has some free and some 'pay and display' time limited parking bays. Please don't park in residents' parking areas.
The house is in a residential area. Noise and music must be kept to reasonable levels to show consideration to neighbours. It is not a 'party house' and we do not accept bookings for stag, hen, school or university leaving parties or similar events. If you are looking for a party venue, this is NOT the property for you.

Married with 3 kids. Regular traveller for work and pleasure, with experience as an Air BnB guest in Europe and N America. Completed one year work exchange to Australia and many home exchanges in Europe and Australia from 1999 to date using other websites - a considerate and experienced host and guest.
