A Tiny House on Wheels that's a Japanese Tea House with traditional Japanese woodwork combined with mod-coms including a kitchen, bathroom and outdoor soaking tub.
Always been yearning to take up Tiny House living? Here's your chance! But, please be aware it's not called a Tiny House for nothing - packing a small bag is suggested. Or, stash your large suitcase in the luggage locker at the side of the house. Guests taller than 6'2" or super-sized may not be comfortable. If you struggle with high steps, you should choose to sleep on a pop-up bed on the tatami mat rather than in the loft. Otherwise, don't miss the chance to sleep on the organic Japanese mattress with organic Japanese buckwheat pillows (standard pillows also available). The bathroom is just big enough for moderately-sized folk, While the soaking tub may be a tight squeeze, there is a hand-shower also suitable for all. Outside there is another shower on the Tiny House deck as well as an outdoor bath. Please remember this is a lovingly serene and intimate dwelling that should be treated with care and respect. No smoking or additional guests permitted.
Guests access the property through a gated entrance and the property is fenced although you may not notice it. All guests have access to the pool which is filled with pure alkaline mineral water. Even if you just sit with your feet in the water, you'll soak up the medicinal benefit from the soles of your feet. There's also a hot water outdoor shower by the pool with the same pure water that's in the pool and each of the rooms. Just outside the gate there is a trail leading up to crest-line views, and if you join us for our affordable organic home-cooked meals, you'll have access to the Ocean View Terrace. And, all the rooms have excellent star-gazing opportunities as we are in a Dark Sky area.

Guests can choose total privacy or plenty of interaction. Hosts try to greet guests upon arrival but especially if you are staying just one night and arriving near meal time, I may be busy cooking and serving meals. Most guests love to enjoy our communal meals as meeting other guests is a high point of the Malibu Orchard experience. If you want, you can request a private meal, too.
As avid travelers and seasoned film-makers, we have lots of stories to tell and love to hear stories from our guests. Just let us know what type of experience you are longing for and we will do everything we can to deliver your dream stay!
