Private room in downtown loft. High ceilings, rooftop pool, and busy surroundings. It's SUPER close to the Metro system & downtown restaurants, clubs, shopping concert halls & museums.
This is a large private bedroom in a downtown loft 2 bedroom unit. The mattress is really comfortable and the room is great. The view from the window is honestly one of the best in all of Los Angeles.
The front room has a couch you can hang out on and watch TV, DVDs etc. Wireless internet is included.
Concrete floors throughout the house and kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are kept very clean and you can use them all.
The high ceilings and open layout give it a cool, urban feel. There are artists, musicians and models in the building as well as young urban professionals. You'll definitely want to spend some time up on the roof checking out the amazing DTLA skyline and sunsets.
You'll have your own private bedroom with clean sheets and towels.
I have no pets and no smoking allowed, so no need to worry about any allergies or anything.
The bathroom is shared with myself only.
There is security in the lobby. It keeps things very safe in the building. If you are intimidated by big cities and an interesting mix of all kinds of people, there are better spots than Downtown LA. It can also get a bit noisy sometimes and there are free earplugs provided and fan for white noise.
I request guests speak with me via phone to understand check in procedure and make sure we both understand everything about the place.

I have shoots for movies, modeling portfolios or other stories on location sometimes, but I also work from home when I am not shooting, so I may be around sometimes.. If you're a photographer, it's a great space to shoot in as well if you want to work something out.
I can leave you alone or if you want suggestions on places to go and how to get around, I can give you some great hikes, clubs, restaurants and neighborhoods you prob haven't seen. Or all the well known spots (Arts District, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, etc)
I have lived in NY, AZ, UT and have lived in Los Angeles for over 10 years all together.
I have worked in retail (Neiman Marcus, Club Monaco, Cartier), but am now a fashion and food photographer, video producer (and occasionally some independent movies), and software marketer. I shoot for some magazines, musicians and businesspeople.
I have produced a few shorts and a feature called Coyote ( you can find it on Netflix and watch it if you want!)
I listen to music of every kind, from T.Rex, Brian Eno, AC/DC to Morgan Page, Prince and even some Johnny Cash, Chet Baker and everything in between.
L.A. is a crazy mix of glamour, grit, sun and sand. Tons of secret spots to visit and so much good food. I love exploring all of it and can provide any sort of tips. I like to do the same thing when I travel. A bit of the 'expected' with a lot of the less explored, unexpected of each destination.
