This is an outstanding place, by far our best experience on Airbnb. I spent two nights at Penwood Farm for a business & leisure trip with my wife, our 10-year-old son, and my parents-in-law. The place is straightforward to reach thanks to Gail's precise instructions, and upon getting there you immediately feel the magic of Penwood Farm. It is set in the beautiful Somerset countryside, with large and romantic gardens and an over 500 years old house which offers a rich and unique experience. Gail, her husband, and her super friendly and lovely dogs gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel pampered and treated like guests of honour. My son said the dogs are epic. Breakfast is excellent, with local fruit, eggs and produce and plenty of fresh bread, butter, jam, yoghurt, cereals, and so much more. Gail was so keen to satisfy all our eating needs and desires. The house has free wifi and the beds are so comfy, we had our best sleep in months! Gail was very attentive, she put a variety of tea and coffee and shortbreads in our rooms every evening, and even offered us a local elderflower drink. We had a private part of the house at our entire disposal (the dogs are not allowed in our quarters), consisting of 3 bedrooms (a double, a twin, a single) and two bathrooms/shower rooms. The house was super clean and well maintained. In short, a fantastic place at a very convenient price for a family of 5 people! Penwood Farm is perfectly located for the Somerset amenities: Bath, Glastonbury Tor & Abbey (5 min), Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge etc., and just one hour away from Stonehenge. We had a lovely stay and overall felt very refreshed and relaxed. Thank you very much Gail, family, and dogs. :) Totally recommended!
