Welcome to our home! Located a short drive from GCSU, GMC, Andalusia, and downtown Milledgeville, our place is comfortable and cozy: perfect for solo travelers and couples visiting the area.
The guest bedroom and bath are tucked away in a short hallway off the living room on the opposite side of the house from the master suite and office. The space includes a queen bed, dresser, TV with Roku (Netflix and Pandora access), coffee maker, walk-in closet, and a shower/tub combination.
The bathroom is just outside your bedroom door. Please note that while the bathroom is yours (we don't use it), but is shared with other guests that visit the house. We have included a variety of toiletries; please help yourself to whatever you may need during your stay.
Enjoy the shared spaces: living room, kitchen, dining room, garden, and two porches. There are coffee (Keurig and french press), tea, and breakfast foods available in the kitchen during your stay; please help yourself!
Общение с гостями
There is a list of recommended restaurants and attractions in your room. We are happy to provide further tips on where to eat, what to do, and how to get there. Otherwise, we leave guests to their own devices, giving you privacy for rest and relaxation.
Другие важные подробности
Please note two things: (1) we have friends over most Thursday evenings from August-May until 7PM (you're welcome to join us), and (2) we have a large friendly fur-friend (see the photo) who loves pets and cuddles, but is not hypoallergenic. She is not allowed in your room or bathroom, but will happily greet you at the front door!
- Respect quiet hours 11PM-6AM. You don't have to be silent, we just ask that you wait to practice your sweet rap talent until daytime arrives.
- Smoking only in the outdoor areas; properly dispose of cigarette butts
- Clean up after yourself in public/shared spaces
- Guests are not allowed in the master suite or the office
- Be kind to our four-pawed fur-friend
I am an anthropologist, frequent traveler, gardener, avid reader, hiker, and appreciator of good bourbon. I love spending time with my dog and good friends, but my favorite time of day is enjoying coffee during the quiet morning when the sun starts to emerge over the horizon.
As an Airbnb host, I focus on providing a comfortable home away from home that is clean and stocked with basic necessities. I am communicative and strive to give guests the space they want to recharge during their stay.
As an Airbnb traveler, I travel extensively for research, conferences, and guest lectures, but hopefully we'll cross paths during a more fun and fantastic trip! I look forward to meeting you.
