A walk away: All destinations in the Park itself are within easy walking distance. There’s a lot to see and do in our Ecovillage; The Phoenix Community Stores selling wholefoods, gifts, books, crafts, Visitors Centre, offering park tours (URL HIDDEN) and a chance to experience a Findhorn Foundation work department (URL HIDDEN) The Living Machine, Moray Art Centre which runs local and international exhibitions & events, the Universal Hall a stunning venue with a wide variety of live theatre, shows, performances and films, Phoenix Cafe, sanctuaries, and the original garden. It will take you 15 minutes to walk to the beach through the dunes.
A short drive away: attractions in the area include sites of historic interest such as Brodie Castle with Brodie Country Fair including cafe, artisan food, exclusive gifts and clothing, Cawdor Castle, Fort George and the battlefield at Culloden; Clava Cairns; Randolph's Leap, a beautiful walk along the Findhorn River with artisan shops and cafe at Logie Steading; distilleries in Forres; and golf courses at nearby Nairn and Castle Stuart in Inverness. If you’re visiting Moray on the Malt Whisky Trail, Forres also boasts two distilleries, the Benromach Distillery and the Dallas Dhu Historic Distillery. The nearest town of Forres is about 5 miles away. It has a high street with shops and banks, supermarkets, a swimming pool and a railway station. There's a public bus service every hour during the day.
Nature: Findhorn lies on the Moray coast home to some of the region's most fabulous countryside & wildlife. Stunning coastlines, beautiful woodland river walks, spectacular bird life (ideal location for ornithologists), a resident pod of appox. 130 bottlenose dolphins and lots of seals! Findhorn enjoys it's own micro-climate so often the weather is much better in the village than in the surrounding areas! This is also a great area for golf, walking and cycling!

No Access: No access permitted to downstairs rooms.

Pan: The cat will keep you company and entertained during your stay. In return he likes to be fed twice a day, cuddled and talked to.
Noise: There will be some noise during the weekday working hours until December 2018 as other houses in the road are still being built.
Mobile: Due to our locality, it might be that you have very little mobile signal in the house, depending on your provider and make of the phone.
Wifi: Free wi-fi is available for basic email, wifi calling and web-browsing.
Breakfast: I do not provide any breakfast but it can be purchased from The Phoenix Cafe or Shop open 10:00 am Monday - Saturday and 11.00 Sunday. 1 min walk from the house. 15 min walk away in the village is the Bakehouse Cafe open 10.00 - 16.00.
Pan: My cat will wander through the house as his cat flap is in the back door. He can be timid and is nervous of new noises and sights. He likes being talked to and having his head stroked. He may try and get in your bed if you leave the door open so please remember to close it and check inside in case he got trapped if you are going to leave the house.
Summer: There is a lot of light in the summer months, sometimes there will only be a couple hours of darkness at night. Your room is fitted with a black out blind but you may want to bring and eye mask and ear plugs to ensure you are well rested during your stay.
