I am a born German, but a Capetonian at heart. I moved here some years ago for work and fell in love with the city immediately - with its people, its lifestyle, the waves, the mountains and the sun. I'm a postdoctoral researcher in art and design with the University of Johannesburg, so I'm travelling a lot. When I'm in Cape Town, I try to catch waves as often as possible, love to explore the street food markets and coffee places, and try to enhance my knowledge about South African red wine ;-) Together with my friend Nikita, I enjoy hosting people from all over the world at our place and make everyone fall in love with this magical place!
