Beds; 1 queen, & twin-over-full bunk bed, sofa & 2 Packnplay's, 730 sqft WiFi Washer/Dryer Near shops & 1 mile to Train Station- to LA & SD, 1 mile Harbor Blvd restaurants, 2 miles CSUF, Driveway Parking. Lots of Fun!
House Rules: Be quite when coming in at night not to disturb neighbors. No smoking inside of the home. Leave the home as you found it except for cleaning, linens and towels will be washed by house keeping at the end of your stay.
Welcome to our cottage. We want you to be comfortable with your stay. We have found that we need to leave a list of rules as some guests in the past have needed a little reminder of how to care for the home. There are some fragile antiques and items in the house. Please use the house gently and handle the furniture and items in the house with care.
Children and Babies.
1- There are items in the house including toys that are not safe for babies. There are outlets, under the sink products and lamps that can be pulled down. The back yard is not flat. It is fully gated but the gates are not self closing and the deck had a big step. Please watch your children closely.
2- There is a pack-n-play in closet and small sheets for it. There are also other baby items that you may use including blankets and bibs. House keeping will not know if any of these items has been used. If you use any of these please wash in hot water and put away as you found it. There are instructions on the package and Youtube has a video on how to assemble it if needed.
3- There are two air mattresses. Best to be used for children. They need to be refilled every day. They do not leak and are not old, they just do not have a “auto filler”. It is also a good idea to put an air mattress. Next to a bed a child is sleeping in case they roll over onto the floor. Please make sure the kids do not jump on them. It is very temping for them to do so. If used please put back as found at the end of the trip.
4- BUNK BEDS: Please have no one younger than 6 years of age on the top bunk of the bunk beds. It is also a good idea to put an air mattress on the floor next to the bunk bed for extra safety.
1/ No noise is best, but NOISE AFTER 9PM OR BEFORE 9AM is acceptable.
2/ No fireworks, fire, candles, unplug coffee pot when you leave for the day.
3/ No indoor furniture allowed outdoors.
4/ Flooring- Please be careful of the flooring! It is very sensitive to liquid and scratches! Please carry, do not roll suitcases on floors. No outdoor equipment is allowed in the house.
5/There is no smoking inside the home. No littering.
6/ The Premises has screens on the windows. Removal of the screens could result in injury. If the screens are removed at anytime this will result in forfeiture of full deposit, CHILDREN ARE TO BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES AROUND WINDOWS.
7/ No one at anytime should be on the roof. Guests reported on the roof results in a full loss of damage deposit.
9/ Washer and dryer are provided. They are outside on the side porch. The washer and dryer are available to use between 9AM-8PM daily.
10/ Do not enter the property from Lincoln. Enter only from the ally between Lincoln and Yale. There is a driveway for one car or two small cars parked carefully in the drive way accessed from ally. There is street parking but check the street signs for rules. The street gets ticketed on street sweeping day. Each side of the street is different.
11/ Turn A/C & Heater off when away, and keep door closed when in use. So Cal has a severe drought. We are required to converse on water. We can not use the hose for water play until the drought is over.
12/ There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The cleaning deposit paid covers cleaning and changing linens but is not a maid service.
15/ All items in the house to returned to the same location. Let property own know of any problems with the house ASAP and any damage to the house or items inside of the house. Do not rock back on wooden chairs, or put wet towels on them, use coaster for drinks, keep sink clear of dishes to help keep away ants.
There is a $17 charge prior to arrival for each additional overnight guest beyond agreed in advance total. Please let me know if there will be additional Guests prior to arrival. If more guests stay than on the rental agreement the deposit will be forfeited. And no pets allowed.
The deposit is NOT applied toward the rent. The deposit is fully refundable within 48 hours after departure, provided the following provisions are met:
1- No damage is done to the Property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
2- No charges are incurred due to contraband or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
3- All debris, trash and discards are placed in outside trash cans behind the house.
4- All soiled dishes, glasses, cups, cookware; utensils are cleaned and put away. House keeping is not able to re-clean all of the dishes in the cupboard between guests so please clean everything used very well.
5- All keys are put back in the lock box and the unit is locked including windows.
6-All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
7-No Linens, Towels, Kitchen Utensils, Glasses, Dishes, Cookware, All Furniture, All Appliances, All Hardware, All Decor Objects, all plumbing fixtures are not lost, stolen, or damaged.
8-All towels and linens are accounted for and without stains.
9-The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), or the local law enforcement.
10-Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money and the party will not be permitted to check in.
11- NO PARTIES: Any police activity on the premises will result in loss of full deposit plus any fine fees and possible immediate eviction. There is a strict noise ordinance which is enforced by the Fullerton Police. No noise after 9PM. If there are complaints or police comes to the property there will be a full forfeit of the deposit and an Imposed fine of $1000
Check out Rules - Leave the house as you found it.
1- Check-Out: 11AM or sooner. Please text when you have left.
2- Please take All the Trash out to the Exterior bins and put new liners in trash cans.
4- Wash up & put away ALL pots, pans, glasses etc and put back to their original places.
5- Lock up all doors & windows, unplug coffee pot.
6- Put the used towels in the washing machine with soap and start the wash cycle on hot.
7- Leave the used beds unmade.
8- Clean BBQ if you used it.
The House is privately owned, the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities and shall be held free and clear of any and all Liability.
The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.

I hope that our homes speak to kids and the kid inside of all us. You can find me at almost any yard sale or antique shop looking for something old, new, cool, Disney or different to share in our cottage’s with our guests. I am a Realtor and I am tired of all of the houses looking the same. I try to keep as many original features as long as possible in our older homes. I find the oddness of the original molding charming in a quirky artsy way and hope our guests enjoy our house as a different and special place to stay. If you are looking for the typical or perfection that is not my style. We have a lot of fun and exciting improvements planned for our homes and gardens to add to the experience.
I LOVE Fullerton's Historical District and find it to be the best Central Southern California location for visitors to enjoy many beautiful local historical places, good restaurants, wine bars, shopping and colleges, while not too far from many tourist locations in Southern California like Disneyland (one town over down Harbor Blvd), Knott's Berry Farm, LA, Beaches, and so much more.
We very fortunate to live in this gorgeous area where the weather is great most of the time. We spend our free time at Disney, local theater and the beach. Being a host comes natural to me.
