This will be a long review but I promise it will be the best.
Firstly, this is not a 'private cabin' the way the listing suggests, it's a motel. The single picture posted does not show the dozen or so RV's and skyjacked diesel trucks parked atop a hill 60 yards away.
The details say it is situated in an RV park, so I recognise it is my fault for not investigating further into the natter, but as it is the listing feels misleading with the lone picture conveniently capturing only the back of the cabin and not the rest of the motel.
Secondly, because it is a motel the 'shared' shower is pretty gross looking and smells interesting.
Thirdly, because it is a motel, expect to potentially find left behind treats such as used condom wrappers on the floor, like we did.
Now, as far as the room itself goes, it was fine. Darshan was extremely pleasant and kind in my dealings with him and communicative throughout the process from check in to check out.
I say all of this with honesty and no intent to be scathing, either towards Darshan or the motel service he runs, because at the end of the day I was largely happy with what I paid for:a place to spend the night, shower and do laundry after a week in Yellowstone on a month-long road trip.
