Welcome to the High Road Santuario. A rustic homestead retreat located on the scenic High Road to Taos (New Mexico St Rd 76) in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, it is halfway between Santa Fe to the south and Taos to the north.
High Road Santuario is a quiet, secluded, yet easily accessible space that supports relaxation and healing through quiet communion with nature. We are a sustainability focused property- currently working on bringing what was once a vibrant organic farm back to life and production. The property is surrounded by Carson National Forest, with endless hiking- perhaps to Trampas Lake or fishing on the Trampas River. An ideal stop for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, rustic Northern New Mexico beauty, and the rich history of the area. A great stop for bikers along the High Road.
We offer 2 detached, earthen abodes on our property. The casita is furnished with a brand new king size bed. The sound of flowing water can be heard from your room.
The other building, our "studio" is listed as "High Road Santuario, Rustic Adobe Retreat.
Guests will have access to the cabin as well as main house kitchen and bathroom during open hours. There is an outhouse available to guests as well.
