At 3,500 square feet, you won’t lack for room in this comfortable, beautiful, and sunny house powered by solar panels with conventional backup. This former home of a Palm Springs designer is newly renovated, gorgeously furnished, and decorated with original art. House has a semi-circle driveway as well as a three car garage and a fascinating rock and cactus garden in the front. Our 33 foot pool has an attached spa set in a backyard that faces west for views of the San Jacinto mountains. We are very near to the spectacular Indian Canyons Golf Resort (open to the public) and just south of the expanded Smoke Tree Shopping Center. Downtown Palm Springs is just a few minutes drive away.

Area is far to the south in the prestigious Canyon Country Club neighborhood, the best in Palm Springs, which is non-windy, receives full sun, and has wide and wonderful views of the mountains from its million dollar plus homes. Have no fear of golf balls or golf carts as we are off the fairway. Area is very quiet and far from drive-by traffic.

The backyard has a shade porch for outdoor dining and lounging and a six foot wall provides total privacy. Grab some fruit from our citrus trees to squeeze your morning juice and use the outdoor shower. Outdoor dining furniture seats eight. Pool area has two loungers and one double lounger as well an outdoor fridge/wet bar and shaded sitting area.

All rooms in this house are spacious and sunny with travertine tiles or new carpeting. Living room has soaring cathedral ceiling, a gas fireplace, and views of the pool and mountains. The master bathroom is the size of a Manhattan apartment and has a sunken tub and separate shower. Master bedroom has an enormous walk-in closet. The other bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and spacious closets. We have added two roll away beds to accommodate more guests.

T.V. den is cool and cozy with shelves full of books and a 42 inch HD television with DVD player and subscription services such as Netflix etc. Kitchen is fully equipped with island counter, gourmet cookware, and state of the art appliances as well as a television. Next to it is a sunny breakfast room for reading the paper as well as an outdoor breakfast nook in the shade. Cabinets have crystal and wine glasses and three different sets of china.

Televisions with cable are in all bedrooms. T.V. den with 50 inch flatscreen features HBO, Showtime and Roku for Netflix, Hulu etc. Long distance calling is free and WiFi is provided for your laptop.

This is your luxury home away from home.

Coachella 2020 2nd weekend: 2885.00 plus taxes of 11.5%
May 2020: 1500 per week plus taxes of 11.5%
Summer rates 2020: 1295 per week 6/1 to 9/30 plus taxes of 11.5%
Fall rate 2020: 1525 per week 10/1 to 12/17 plus taxes of 11.5%
Thanksgiving 2020: 2195 per week plus taxes of 11.5%
Winter Holidays 2020: 2950.00 per week 12/18 to 1/2 plus taxes of 11.5% (10 day minimum)
Jan/Feb 2021: 2125.00 per week 1/1 to 2/28 plus taxes of 11.5%
March 2021: 2235.00 per week plus taxes of 11.5%
April 2021: 2125.00 per week plus taxes of 11.5%
Weeks of Coachella 2021: 3225.00 for all or part of the week plus taxes of 11.5%
Stage Coach 2021: 1400.00 for three nights plus taxes of 11.5%
May 2021: 1500 per week plus taxes of 11.5%
Summer 6/1/21 to 9/30 2021: 1325.00 per week plus taxes of 11.5%

Available weekends 30 days in advance or between gaps at 375.00 night for Friday/Saturday plus taxes of 11.5% and cleaning fee. Three day weekend price is 900.00 plus taxes and cleaning fee. Will consider stays of less than a week 30 days in advance with exception of weeks that include holidays.

This is a house rental that rents from three nights to three months or longer so guests should not expect same amenities as a stay at a hotel. We start you off with some t.p. and hand soap for your arrival but it is not practical to offer supplies, comestibles or services such as daily maid service. Guests are welcome to use all supplies and comestibles left behind by previous guests.

Taxes of 11.5% do not apply to stays over 28 days

Sorry to say that parties, events, gatherings, etc are not allowed by a city ordinance. Playing music or a radio or other sound system in the backyard is also not allowed by the City of Palm Springs. By law, guests must not socialize in the yard after 10 pm. House is strictly limited to eight sleepers at night and ten during the day.

Hosting a party or event or housing more than 8 guests will result in forfeiture of the security deposit. Fines for noise or playing music in the backyard ($500.00 to $1000.00 per violation) will be deducted from the guests' deposit. Children are very welcome, but recent ordinances about noise do not allow for "kids screaming in the pool" so this is not an ideal rental for families with many young children.
