This Laurelwood condominium is the perfect location for your family regardless of the season. Walk to skiing, dining and entertainment as well as Black Rock Market. In the summer, enjoy the private pool only available for Laurelwood owners and guest. Enjoy a cozy fire (firewood provided), dinner on the private back deck or just watching TV with the family.

By confirming your reservation, you agree to the terms of our rental agreement which is shown below.1. Reservation Deposit
A reservation/security deposit of $250 is required to hold your reservation. You will have 10 days to mail back your signed Rental Agreement with your payment. Your security deposit of $250 will be refunded within two weeks of your departure, provided the property is left in the same condition in which you found it, other than a routine departure cleaning. Loss of any of the Wintergreen Resort guest passes will result in 100% forfeiture of your security deposit. Extra fees would include, but not be limited to: trash removal, furniture replacement, damaged property and failure to return keys or guest passes. Any damages that exceed the amount of your deposit are your responsibility, and you will be billed accordingly. You will not be able to pick up the keys for your rental unless we have a signed Rental Agreement on file.
The balance of rent plus a one-time $25 processing fee is due 30 days before arrival date. Payment options are through our website, money order, and personal check. All checks must be made out to Blue Ridge Getaways LLC. Please mail your check or money order to P. O. Box 444, Nellysford, VA 22958. Returned check fee is $50.00.
3. Reservation Cancellation Policy
If you cancel prior to two weeks of your reservation, we will refund your money, less the $25 processing fee. If you cancel within the two week period, we cannot refund your money unless the home or condo is re-rented for the entire canceled period and for the full rental amount. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. We highly recommend all guests purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance. 4. Check In
Check-in is at 3:00pm at the Mountain Area Realty sales office. Checking in early may be possible. Please call the rental office at to let us know if you are arriving early and we will try to accommodate you. Please understand that during ski season and Holidays are busy and early check-ins are not likely.
5. Check Out
Check-out time is 11:00am on your departure date. Your rental must be left in “broom clean” condition. Please place all dishes in the dishwasher with dishwasher detergent and turn it on prior to leaving. Remove all trash and dispose of it in the nearest dumpster. Return heat/ac to original setting and lock all windows and doors. Return all keys to the rental office, a fee of $20.00 is due for all lost keys.
6. Additional Cleaning Charges/Trash Removal
While linens and bath towels are included in the home, daily maid service is NOT included in your rental rate. We suggest bringing beach towels for facilities outside the home. We do not permit towels or linen to be taken from the home. We will inspect each property after your departure. Guests are responsible for additional cleaning fees that result in efforts above and beyond expected wear and tear for a normal cleaning transfer. If you are staying in a condo, please take trash bags to dumpster located in the condominium parking lots on departure. Home rentals can use the dumpsters located on Black Rock Drive and in the front parking lot of the Wintergarden Spa. Renters will be charged an additional fee of $25.00 if any trash bags are left in the unit. Please understand that you are staying in a natural setting, lingering trash invites un-welcomed guest.
7. Emergency Services/Lockout Policy
Please call the home owner service company listed in your arrival package if you are locked out or have an after hours emergency. If you do not have an emergency please wait and call during regular business hours. Unreasonable requests that are not emergencies will be billed to the guest. Guests will be responsible for paying a lockout service charge of $75.00 if they lock themselves out of their unit.
Each unit has its own occupancy limit, and will be strictly adhered too. Guests who exceed the occupancy limit will face immediate termination of the rental unit with NO refund of rental monies paid.
9. Right of Entry
Blue Ridge Getaways reserves the right to enter the unit during reasonable hours to make repairs or inspect for problems reported. You will be expelled from the property without a refund for loud parties, unruly behavior, or damage to the property.
Please understand that you are staying in the mountains and that your cell phone may not work throughout the resort. There are telephones in most units. There is no charge for local calls. Any long distance calls are to be made with a calling card or credit card. We will provide the telephone number for your unit in your arrival packet.
11. Wireless Internet
Due to uncertainties and complexities of wireless communication, Blue Ridge Getaways cannot guarantee that the wireless connection in the unit said to have wireless capabilities will be available for use or compatible with your equipment. If you are unable to gain internet access in your rental, wireless communications are available at the Mountain Inn.
Additional deposit may be required for units allowing pets. Renters will be charged additional cleaning fees if pets are found to have been kept in the unit without permission. Renters will be responsible for any and all damages caused by pet(s).
Smoking is not allowed in any of the units. Additional cleaning fees will be imposed if this is not respected
Subletting the property or assignment of this agreement to others is strictly prohibited.
In the rare event that the unit you choose is no longer available for any reason, we will make every effort to find a comparable substitution and contact you as soon as possible. In the event that an appropriate substitution is not available, we will make a cancellation refund within 30 days or as soon as possible of date of reservation.
16. Offering/Access to Amenities
Your rental covers only lodging and promotions, if offered by Blue Ridge Getaways for the properties that it manages. Fees for resort activities are separate and the responsibility of the renter.
As a renter, you get the same access the owners do to Wintergreen facilities operated by the Wintergreen Property Owners Association (WPOA). This includes the use of the Chestnut Springs pool and playground and the pool at Rodes Farm. You are also welcome to use the outdoor tennis court at Rodes Farm. All other amenities which are operated by Wintergreen Partners, Inc. (WPI) which includes the Wintergarden Spa, the golf courses, ski trails, tennis courts and pools not mentioned above, etc. are extra-cost and the renter's responsibility.
We have two types of properties, Member Advantage (with access to all amenities) and Non-Member Select (with limited access to WPI amenities). The type of each property is clearly marked in the list of properties and in the details for each property.
Non-Member Select discount properties have restricted access to certain amenities throughout the year as these properties are owned by non-club members
Member Advantage properties are owned by Wintergreen Club Member. Wintergreen has a membership program, similar to a country club, for property owners that are club members. These owners and their guests have unlimited and preferential access to certain amenities during peak travel periods at Wintergreen. When you rent a club member's property you will be given a pass so you have the same preferential access, for a discounted rate, to the amenities that the members have.
17. Members Advantage Club Passes
Renters that stay in Members Advantage properties will receive passes. These passes belong to the property owner and must be returned to the unit. They are NOT replaceable. If the passes are lost or stolen, the renters will be charged $250 per pass to reimburse the property owner.
These homes and condos are privately owned; the owners and Blue Ridge Getaways are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners and Blue Ridge Getaways are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Please be respectful of the owner’s personal property you find in the units.
Blue Ridge Getaways represents the property owner. Compensation may be received for services provided.
