I live here, It is a bright apartment with fluo sunsets, 1 dorm plus 1 room (ex music studio) and 1 art studio, all with an amazing view to the sea. These are studios we use, and where we place mattress in the floor when our friends from far away come over. In one studio you will find a piano out of tune, some beautiful plants and a desk while the other studio has a large table, paintings and stuff. It is perfect for illustration, lots of sun and the beautiful view to stay watching all day.
In the studios, we don´t have beds. These are our working studios, and when friends come over and visit us, we put a mattress and lend our studios for some days. I will host my Airbnb guest same as I host my friends, with the same comfort.
If you are looking for a hotel, with the comfort of a hotel, then, please I beg you: you will be happier in a hotel. We are far a way of being a hotel, we are different in every aspect. We will welcome you in our home and in our life hoping you can have the greatest stay ever as a local.
The mattress are standard mattress, they are ok for a couple of days stay. Sheets are the same as I use, I will give you my favourites of course, cotton, clean and nice. I haven't bought them specially for the Airbnb thing, same with the towels.
As you can see in the pictures, space for the mattress in the art studio is quite tight, but the room with the piano is comfortable. You will have one of the most privileged seaside view from Montevideo, and the house is big, living room, kitchen and stuff are spacious, nice and bright. I call it a Japanese art studio. This apartment is a Japanese lighthouse!
Living here its a blessing and a privilege that its worth to share!
This apartment took my heart by having a wonderful view from all, all its windows! and for the light that gets in. If you don't like direct sun, you'd better sleep in the living room's sofa or scroll down the blinds in the room (which you will remembered all the eternity for doing that)
Having the sea in front of your place, is IDEAL for a lazy people that like to lay down in the Paraguayan hammock reading a book and watching at people running down the rambla, sweating and waisted. This apartment is also great for writers who are looking for a story about people chatting and drinking mate in the rambla...
To live in front of the sea in Montevideo its something that had never happened to me before, and it makes me happy every single day since I have moved on this place. Every morning you can wake up looking at a slow vessel that sometimes its so big, SO BIG, that it looks like a building crossing the sea.
The apartment is also ideal for cooks that take care of pans (and only use wood spuns), and soap and a sponge... (key ingredients after each meal). The kitchen is spacious, bright and it has a table where one can sit and draw while the other cooks and talks. Always with a nice conversation in between.
To the smokers, well, though I don´t smoke I know smoking is something that brings tons of pleasure to smokers. I know, I know... I beg you to smoke in the piano room with the door closed...or in the rambla.
I don't like smoke at all, but i'm sure we will agree somehow to live in the same place for a couple of days.
Общение с гостями
I will always be at disposition in case you need something.
Sometimes I'm in the appartment, sometimes not. That changes a lot.
