A 5 minute walk to the Hilton and 15 minute water taxi into town. 25 minutes to top of Remarkables Ski field, 40 minutes to top of Coronet Peak Ski field. 10 minutes from Queenstown golf course.
Elevated with stunning views over Lake Wakatipu and the mountains, and a short flight of private stairs takes you to the lake edge and the stunning 120km Queenstown Trail. This gorlgeous home provides every comfort and convenience. A roaring wood burning closed fire and heat pumps ensure you remain warm and toasty in winter. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate TV and library room ensure space for everyone. The living room, kitchen and dining area has 180 degree views over the lake and mountains and stunning views from the Library room and two bedrooms. The third bedroom overlooks the schist walled rose garden.
Guests have access to the entire hosue except locked owner storage space.

As a long time local, I love helping my guests by providing my personal dining recommendations and often book tables for them in the busy ski and summer season to avoid disappointment. Of course they can cancel without penalty but I'm well-known in Queenstown and can usually get them the best tables.

The renter agrees not to allow more people than agreed on this site and the owner of Lake View Retreat may terminate the agreement if the permitted number of renters is exceeded and the owner has notified the renter of the breach and you have failed to rectify the breach within 2 hours of receiving notification.
Children must be accompanied by a parent.
This house is not suitable for toddlers or people who have trouble with stairs.
No use of outdoor entertainment areas between 2300 and 0700 hrs
(11pm and 7am) - this is a strict requirement of our council consent.
We expect breakages - plates and glasses and other small items, however anything major must be reported to the owner or manager immediately and the owner reserves the right to charge for the replacement.
Each time you leave the property, turn off all lights, heat pumps, heaters and electric blankets.
Ensure fires have been fully extinguished.
Close and secure all windows and doors.
The renter undertakes that you will not do, or omit to do, any action that would invalidate or adversely affect any insurance polciy held by the owner of Lake View Retreat including securing the house and/or its contents.
The owner accepts no responsibiltiy for any loss or damage to any of the renter and their guests' chattels or personal property.
I am fortunate to own properties in my home town Auckland and my adopted town Queenstown and am passionate about showing the best of Queenstown and Auckland's beautiful surrounds off to our friends and visitors. Biking the 120kms Queenstown Trail, and hiking are two of my favourite pastimes. A visit to Waiheke Island is a must when staying in Auckland - the ferry ride over the Waitemata Harbour is breathtaking.
I always enjoy a good party. My husband and I adore all things Italian and love to visit our grown up children who live all over the world. Family and friends, great food and wine are what makes life wonderful.
