What makes our apartment unique, is its warm and cosy atmosphere made complete by our specialised library and art collection and a large terrace full of herbs, plants and flowers. We offer a private room (with a very comfortable bed) in our apartment, which is located just two blocks away from La Sagrada Familia. While we are just minutes away from Barcelona's most famous icon, our neighbourhood is surprisingly tranquil and has a very local Catalan feel to it.
Our apartment is on the 5th floor (top floor with an elevator) in a classical building of the L’Eixample district.
Large living space (with gorgeous traditional Catalan tiles) with views out onto our terrace. The terrace offers a tranquil space to relax after a busy day out site-seeing. We have tables and chairs so you can dine outside most of the year around.
The bed has a good quality (and new) mattresses and the room has an interior window and high ceiling fans which keep it cool in the summer months. We have 1 shared bathroom with a shower, and a washing machine and dryer (available for use).
Our kitchen is fully equipped (with a kettle, blender, toaster, pots, pans etc) and available for use.
Guests will have space in the fridge and are able to help themselves to our wonderful tea collection, freshly ground coffee, olive oil, salt, pepper and spices for cooking.
There are plenty of local bars in the area for cheap and delicious breakfasts or guests can opt to have breakfast at home.
Breakfast is our favourite meal of the day and we like to celebrate it every morning! We offer French croissants with jam, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea or coffee.
For an additional price (10Euros) we can cook you up a substantial and delicious breakfast, with free-range eggs, seasonal vegetables, fresh bread and croissants, juice, tea and coffee.

I am an Australia artist, currently living in Barcelona after falling in love with the city during an artist-in-residency. I've travelled widely and enjoy the experience of being immersed in new environments and cultures as this is what generates my artwork. I have lived in Melbourne, London and Bangkok.
Airbnb has been a great resource for me while travelling and I've met some wonderful people as a result. I'm excited about hosting guests and helping them to feel at home in Barcelona and enjoy their time in this magnetic city.
I love preparing delicious dinner parties, baking cakes, pilates and yoga, being outside, walking, rollerblading, writing lists, organising papers, archiving photographs, drinking red wine, country drives, reading nutrition books, sipping tea slowly, reading time, writing, learning.
