I don't normally write reviews when I stay at an airbnb, but for this stay I must. Let's start off with checking in. I spoke to the person who I'm suppose to meet at the apartment, letting him know that I am leaving from Trafalgar road and heading there. However to my surprise when I got to the apartment he was not there and the main gate was locked. I tried calling him but to no avail, so I called Errol instead and advised him of the situation. He assured me he was going to call him and let him know that I was at the apartment. After I hung up the phone with Errol I spoke with the guy who said that he missundertood what I said when I told him I was on my way to the (URL HIDDEN) told me that he'll be there in 10 minutes. At this point I was pissed because I had somewhere to be at 4pm and It was approximately 3:30pm. That was the first issue I had. Moving on to the second issue. The apartment was lovely and loved the simplicity of it, it was exactly what I was looking for, however under the seat of the toilet was dirty, obviously the apartment didn't go through an inspection before my arrival. when I book an airbnb I always go for the apartments that has a washer and dryer because I dont like to travel with dirty clothes, when I called the guy I was suppose to meet at check in ( because apparently he was the go to guy) he advised me that unfortunately he was not able to help me because the tokens for the washing machine are not given out on the weekends.
