Built circa 1856, this now cottage once belonged to the Bishops Court, one of the most revered heritage items in Adelaide. At this time the stables housed the stately Brougham horse carriages of colonial days.
Cottage consists of 2 bedrooms each side of the main living room. Guest bedroom has french doors and its own private access and courtyard.
Air-conditioning in every room along with an open fireplace in the living room for that perfect cottage feel.
Main living area has lounge, dining and open kitchen. Nespresso coffee machine for those coffee lovers.
This is a heritage listed building so we have been unable to add an additional bathroom so it is shared. We are very considerate of this and ensure you have uninterrupted use of this facility.
Our goal is that you feel completely at home, relaxed and have your own space.

It is important to us that you enjoy the most out of your stay and we will allow you the space and quiet to enjoy the quaint location. We are very often away on tour or with work abroad. However please understand that this is a "Private Listing" and while occasionally we may have the Entire House listed you will be staying with your hosts.
Please understand that this is a heritage listed property set in a very respectful neighbourhood. With this we expect you to treat the +160 year old building with the utmost care.
Your more than welcome to enjoy a social drink in one of the entertaining areas, but we do limit the size and noise of this activity due to our lovely neighbours.
With respect to our neighbours please keep the volume in the outdoor areas down after 10pm.
