Другие важные подробности
NOTE: the DOOR is a DEADBOLT.
Don't even think of going out of the door without KEYS, IF I give you keys. Just think if you cannot get back in and your passport etc is in there...
€250 fine for locking yourself out and calling out someone to drill through the door. PLEASE don't let that happen. The fine will not compensate for the hassle, which so far has never happened.
The flat is on 2nd floor, on left from from lift. You see 2 doors below the no 7 sign. My flat is the right door.
There are 4 keys, 2 long and 2 short:
1 to enter the Palazzo, large front door. the larger of shorter keys
Internal door before lift, shortest key
My apartment door - long key with black fob
Another long key in case the apartment internal door is locked. (it is normally left open)
The landlord is the other end of country!
Separated rubbish goes downstairs please. PLEASE DO NOT LOCK YOURSELF OUT!
WIFI code on the back of the Vodafone router.
The TV is not connected to local TV but I use it as a PC Monitor and can be used to stream TV eg in UK, or films etc..
There is a lift to the flat, but please note there are 5 small steps to get to the lift. I am on the 2nd floor
There are 2 fans and a AC Unit..PLEASE switch these off when not using and when you go out.
Please conserve electricity and use these only when you need them.
Please do not leave them on when you go out for example.
GAS - there is lever above the fridge.
WATER - in bathroom above toilet there is stop cock.
ELECTRICITY - there is Junction box by front door.
SPARE KEY - to be advised
PARKING - please use meters for blue lines. Opposite flat is free parking (no lines) if you can get a space but you are within the ZTL (ie when it is active you will get a fine for driving in unless you have a permit). Wardens do come and give fines.
If ZTL is active, suggest parking on a street outside. I use Via Aurelia Saffi, which has free parking.
Please check you have the KEYS with you when go out of the door. If you are locked out, there is nothing I can do. There will also be a €250 charge since the keys cannot be replaced.
Please feel at home, but any personal possessions should not be taken from the flat. Any breakages must be paid for.
Please do not smoke in the flat, or create noise which is a disturbance to neighbours.

I work as a consultant on international development projects, so moving to Italy was the ultimate challenge:)... there are several UN organisations here, like FAO, the Food and Alcohol Organisation:)
I've used Airbnb in the most unlikely places like Haiti, Moldova, Botswana, Sicily. Now I am hosting both when I am at home and away...
I am drawn to people who have an amusing take on life, something to teach, towards creativity, writers, guitar players, and sports - particularly tennis, kitesurfing, film, stand up comedy, and wine..:)
