VERY NOISY, NEEDS MANY IMPROVEMENTS AND BETTER GUEST RELATIONS
The positives to this apartment is a comfortable bed and some niceties such as cold drinks, shampoo and lotion. One can walk to several cafes and shops. Sabrina, the neighbor who showed us around, was very nice and said we could help ourselves to anything in the kitchen which we really appreciated having arrived late in the evening.
The negatives, unfortunately, outweigh the positives. It is located on an extremely noisy street with cars, motorcycles and drunk fellows yelling during the night. There are gaping holes in 3 of the 4 dining chairs, many stains and tears on the sofas and chipped and scratched tables. We tried to kill as many mosquito's we could which enter the apartment from the back property and feed on you during the night. If stairs are an issue for you there are about 75 to contend with before you arrive at the apartment door. As it was quite hot during our visit, which happens every year in this region, and the apartment itself was 32C/90F, we requested a fan to circulate the air. We were rudely advised in writing that we should have stayed in a hotel if this was something we needed. We honestly did not feel asking for a much needed and inexpensive item would elicit such a response. Apparently, guest comfort is not a priority for these hosts. Pay a bit more and stay where there are not so many issues to contend with during your visit.
