Too many rules? You've got to be kidding! I am sorry they did not feel welcome but I believe you will see from other reviews that others have not felt that way. My offer of a ride to Kamala's partner, my asking if they feel comfortable here (reminding the kitchen is theirs to use) and me retreating to my space in the basement so that they would be comfortable working/socializing in the common area ....these actions do not seem like conveyance the inconvenience feeling that they report. When they wanted to stay for $35 or less for 10 or 12 days, yes, I did explain that the coming weekend -- with a college game--I would be earning closer to $100 those nights. I believe they were troubled when I explained this is a business. Two nights ago I offered my home (yes, for free) to a young woman who is sleeping in her car .... please don't talk to me about how I prioritize money over people.
Fortunately, these were not my first AirBnB guests. If so, they would have been my last.
