Stunning Mallorcan country house with private pool, near Campanet iis furnished with quality rustic furniture and prepared for a maximum of 8 people.

The chlorine pool has a special charm thanks to its elegant shape and is backed by an old restored mill that now houses a porch and a terrace with splendid views of the countryside. The second porch overlooks the Campanet mountains and the pool. The terrace offers the perfect setting for any occasion, whether you want to celebrate a barbecue with all your friends or enjoy a bottle of wine for two. During summer days it is wonderful to swim in the pool, with a size of 12m x 4m and a depth between 0.25m to 2m. Up to six sun loungers are at your disposal for sunbathing and an outside shower is ideal for cooling off quickly. The plot is fenced and there are direct neighbors.

Inside, the rooms have a very elegant and fine style, offering quality furniture and good equipment. This villa is divided into three floors.

The ground floor consists of a luxurious living-dining room, with air conditioning, satellite TV and an access to the porch. The typical Mallorcan cuisine is the favorite place of all cooking enthusiasts since it is fully equipped, including a gas stove. The bedroom on this floor has a double bed and wardrobe. A bathroom with shower gives service to this area.

Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, each with a double bed and wardrobe. A cot and high chair are available on request. A bathroom with bathtub and bidet serves this floor.

Floor -1 has a very special charm due to the rounded roof. The dining room looks like a banquet room as it offers space for 20 diners. The lounge is tastefully decorated and is a quiet corner for reading a book or chatting in small groups. The kitchen on this floor is basically equipped, offering a gas stove, a grill, a dishwasher and an Italian coffee maker. Here you can have a relaxing moments on the couch with a glass of wine while you are waiting for the food. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub.

The house counts also with washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is air conditioning in one bedroom, in the living area, in the dining room of floor -1 and in the kitchen and if you visit us during the winter you will not be cold as there is central heating.

The village of Campanet is in the foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana and is a very quiet and authentic place. During the low season you can go hiking or biking in the mountains, visit the underground fountains Ses Fonts Ufanes, the monastery of Lluc or the charming villages of the Sierra such as Valldemossa, Soller or Fornalutx. In the center of the village there is a grocery store, restaurants and a bank. More services can be found in Sa Pobla or on the north coast, where there are also fine sandy beaches; Including Can Picafort, Puerto de Alcúdia and Playa de Muro.

We loved the house and the the little city of Campanet. The location was very good as well. The house was as expected from the fotos. It was large and had everything we needed. The pool was perfect with sunchairs for everybody and a beautiful view. It takes a few minutes to walk to the square of Campanet where you will find af lovely atmosphere and friendly people. We will recommend restaurant Sa Tercera for very nice food and good and personal service. For a family of 6 people it was perfect.

Boligen er stor og rummelig og i spansk stil. Der er masser af sidde- og opholdssteder, inde som ude. Generelt et fint hus med en god udsigt – og et godt udgangspunkt for køreture til de nærliggende strande og bjerge. Huset ligger i udkanten af byen – i gåafstand til småindkøb, caféer mv. i en lille by, der synes helt uden andre turister! Haven er fantastisk, fyldt med kaktusser, palmer, citrontræer, granatæbletræer, mandeltræer mv. Poolen, der er rummelig og lækker med et lille vandfald og en dekorativ ø, har god dybde i den ene ende og er helt lav i den anden (designet som en strandbred). Byen er lidt ordinær, men meget autentisk og på ingen måder turistet. Der er lokalliv med både et par restauranter/caféer, en fin bager, apotek, et lille supermarked mv. Prøv den familiedrevede restaurant Sa Tercera. Den ser ikke ud af noget, men både paella'en og sangriaen er skøn! Desværre er der kun aircon i et af soveværelserne ovenpå (og i stuen), hvorfor der blev meget varmt om natten. Motorvejen kan desuden høres i det fjerne, når vindretningen ikke er gunstig – men vi oplevede kun dette én gang, så det var ikke et problem. Vi vil dog nævne det, da andre kan være mere følsomme end os. Man skal også være indforstået med, at der kan være lidt støj fra naboer, gøende hunde, galende haner mv. – men det er jo "charmen" ved at bo i en by. Kan man leve med eller endog sætte pris på at være en del af et lokalt byliv, er det et super hus til den store familie, der vil trække sig lidt tilbage fra Mallorcas livlige kystliv uden at være helt isoleret fra omverdenen.
