Escape to the mountains in a spacious, luxury cabin sitting high atop a ridge on 13 private acres. Enjoy a hike on one of the property's nature trails, relax on the deck with a glass of wine or take a dip in the hot tub. The cabin is close to the Blue Ridge parkway, Chateau Morrisette Winery, Villa Appalaccia Winery and the Floyd Fest music venue. Floyd, a darling town brimming with music, art, culture and great food, is a short drive away. Ridgetop cabin is the perfect spot to unwind and relax!
The property is very close to several local attractions, but allows you to get away from it all and reconnect with nature. The property has walking trails that lead to a peaceful creekside picnic area.
The well appointed cabin has every comfort of home with room for guests to spread out and relax. The kitchen comes completely stocked with pots, pans, utensils, crock pot, toaster, juicer, french press, coffee grinder, coffee maker as well as plates, silverware and wine glasses.
Guests have access to the entire cabin. There is a private studio apartment in the basement, where we stay on site to prep for guests and provide assistance as needed. This space is not accessible to guests.
Общение с гостями
We do not live on the property, but are often there in the finished basement apartment at the cabin during our guests' stay. The owner's studio has a private entrance, so we will not interfere with our guests' visit. We can always be reached by phone or email.
Другие важные подробности
If you have a group or another family joining you on our trip, check out our other listing on the property, Ridgetop Cottage in Floyd. The two cabins are close by on the property, but provide a little extra privacy as they each have their own kitchens, bathrooms and sleeping areas.
If your shoes are wet or dirty, please remove them before entering and leave them on the entryway porch or on the boot tray just inside the door.
We do not allow smoking in the cabin or on the property.
While we look forward to further developing the property down the road to more safely accommodate the campfire areas established by the previous owners, presently fires of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property. The area can be quite dry and very windy making the starting of a wildfire a dangerous risk.
Likewise, we ask guests to refrain from utilizing the wood stove until we’re able to better outfit it for safe operation.
If you use the outdoor picnic table for a meal, make sure that food waste is disposed of properly so we don’t attract unwelcome animal attention.
When leaving the cabin, please turn off lights to conserve energy.
If something is broken, please let us know so that we can repair or replace it.
Please be respectful of our cabin and treat it with care. We want to ensure that all of our guests arrive to a clean, happy, inviting space!
