Our place is right off the L train which is 1 stop to Brooklyn, a 10 minute walk to Union Square, and close to shopping in Soho or on 5th Ave. If you'd like to enjoy the East Village, we're minutes from restaurants and bars and are happy to make suggestions! You’ll love our place because of the location's convenience, natural light, comfy bed, and coziness and it's great for couples, solo adventurers, tourists and business travelers. Folks from all backgrounds are welcome in our home.
We have worked really hard to make our space feel warm and comfy and we hope that you feel comfortable and at home here as well!
We imagine you'll be out enjoying the city for most of your time in NYC, but feel free to read our books and magazines, relax to Netflix and Hulu, or listen to some music via Spotify after a long day on the town. All of which are available to you both in the living room and in your private bedroom.
You're welcome to relax in the living room, kitchen, or your private bedroom and have also have access to our shared bathroom and kitchen. We will provide coffee and tea and there is room for you in the fridge for small food items and drinks you may have purchased.
In full disclosure, we are located on the 4th floor of our building and there is no elevator. That being said, you have a beautiful view of First Avenue, the Freedom Tower and the Brooklyn Bridge right from our living room window :)

Myself and my live-in boyfriend are happy to help you throughout your stay, but will generally stay out of your hair. Please feel free to ask either of us any questions about travel, food, attractions, the apartment in general etc. I've lived here for over 9 years and have done as much as I possibly can in this city - it's a blast!
- No shoes in the house
- Please don't consume our food or alcohol
- Please no additional unannounced guests who are not on the reservation
- We're an environmentally
conscientious home - please recycle your applicable items, turn off lights, fans, air-conditioning, heaters, etc. when you're not using them
- Please be respectful and treat the apartment as if it were your own :)
- Check-in time must be coordinated in advance, but is negotiable! Let us know in advance if you get in late or early and we can work together to accommodate you.

Hey there hi there! I'm Meagan and I live with my boyfriend Emiliano who has made many of the lovely updates you see in the photos. He loves wood working and has built shelves, tables and stools you see in this very apartment! I am currently attempting pottery, so there's that haha. We are avid soccer (football) fans and have season tickets for NYCFC. Emi will always cheer for NOB (Messi's home club!). We both love to travel and after having taken trips to Mexico, Argentina, Iceland, and a handful upstate getaways together, we look forward to exploring Europe this summer (while sprinkling in a few weddings as well). We saw every single Oscar nominated film for best picture this year and we love to get out to see live music and just enjoy the city as well. We have a ton of favorite restaurants (mostly in the neighborhood - happy to provide recommendations!) and I think one or the other of us eats Pho about once a week (it's that good). We both also love to cook and you'll find many different flavors floating around the kitchen.
As hosts, we're new at this! But, we've had friends and family stay with us in the past and I think you'll find we'll stay out of your hair, but are happy to help if you need directions or a nice bar for a quick drink. You will have everything you need when you stay with us and you're welcome to make recommendations if there is something you think we may be missing!
As guests, we like to treat someone else's home as we do our own! We've both put a lot of time and energy into creating a warm, comfy environment and we can only imagine our hosts have done the same....and would like to keep it that way! You will likely barely notice we've been there - we like to leave things the way we found them =)
Ultimately, we like to treat others and their space with respect. We hope we'll find the same in our guests and hosts in the future!
