This en-suite bedroom, with your own private entrance, has a comfortable king size bed and a modern shower room. You will also have an area with your own Nespresso machine, kettle and fridge. The private entrance gives you access to a patio and the garden. Guests can also use the pool at the Albergo, just a short walk from the villa.
The villa is located on the edge of Torre Alfina, a 1,000- year old medieval village, which is considered to be 'uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia'. Here you can enjoy authentic Italian village life with friendly people, beautiful landscapes and wonderful food. There are a couple of restaurants, bars and one of the best ice cream parlours in the area. In the Summer there are several events, such as the Blues Festival, the Sagra and the Ice Cream Festival.
The village, built around a castle, sits on a hill close to where Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria meet, and is ideally situated to visit the historic cities of Orvieto, Perugia, Todi, Siena and Rome. If you love to walk, the village is on the edge of the 7,500 acre Monte Rufena Nature Reserve, one of Lazio's largest and most pristine ecological areas. Also nearby are the woods of Sasseto and the famous pilgrim route, the Via Francigena.
The beautiful Lago di Bolsena has wonderful swimming sites and is only a 20 minute drive. The Mediterranean Sea is within one hours drive and the beautiful beaches of Monte Argentario are about 90 minutes from the villa.
The train station in Orvieto is 20 minutes away and is halfway between Rome and Florence.
