A spacious Duplex Flat in a landmark building in the centre of the historic Old Town. Situated within City Exchange, the former Post Office Building.
The flat has two floors, each of which benefit from tall windows that give it a distinctive look. The first floor has an open plan lounge and kitchen area. The lounge has a large sofa bed and another comfortable sofa, coffee table, and 42" plasma TV with freeview. A CD player also is available, and I have a selection of CDs for you to explore.
The sofabed in the lounge is the space guests 3 to 4. Separate linen, pillows and duvet will be made available for to make up the sofabed of an evening. It's a comfy bed and really quick and simple to set up.
Please note that I don't currently have wifi, but there is excellent 4G coverage within the flat, as well as a local wifi hotspot you can pick up on if needed.
The Kitchen includes an oven with electric hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, sink, washer/dryer machine, toaster and a range of cutley/pans/plates etc allowing you to cook rather than eat out. I also have provided an iron and ironing board.
The entrance hallway houses the spiral staircase that leads up to the bedroom and bathrooms. The bed is king sized, and a large wardrobe contains fresh, spare linen and towels. The bathroom is located.off the bedroom and has a bath, overhead shower, sink, toilet and an airing-cupboard containing the water heater. The upstairs landing also has a second toilet room. Handy for guests who are using the sofa bed in the lounge and therefore don't need to disturb their friends when a comfort break calls in the night.
The flat is part of a block, but there are no neighbours, as it is located in its own wing, so it is nice and quiet, despite being right in the heart of the city. Access is provided by a combination of keypad control, swipe card and keys. There is no car parking space allocated with the flat, but there are plenty of spaces available on the street or in local municipal car parks that are cheap and safe. There is a secure bicycle area on the site too.
As well as the flat, the building has a common room with a small library and a pool table.
