Relax in the large jet tub or unwind in the hammock on our tree-surrounded wrap-around porch. Our location is central to ski slopes, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Downtown Boone.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor of the cabin, and include adjoining bathrooms. The master bath features a deep whirlpool bathtub. There is a large flat screen television with apple TV, and we are happy to provide complementary access to Netflix and Hulu accounts. The loft features a futon that can be made down to provide an additional bed. There is a washer and dryer that guests are welcome to use.
The large wrap-around porch includes a large round picnic table that seats 8, as well as a smaller table and chairs for two. In the warmer months we will set up the hammock as well.
The cabin features central heat and air conditioning, as well as the wood stove, so you can create the perfect temperature year-round. We are happy to provide you with a complementary bundle of wood for the wood stove, and will happily provide additional bundles for a small extra charge.
The entire house and the adjoining property, totaling 1.25 acres, are available for you to explore and enjoy. There is a small work shed on the property that is not intended for guests.

Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I came to Boone in 2001 to attend Appalachian State University as an undergraduate, fell in love with the mountains and never left. I feel lucky everyday to live in such a beautiful place! Becoming an Airbnb host has been so much fun, I love sharing these spectacular mountains and the wonderful community of Boone with our guests.
My husband and I are now both employees of ASU, and I am also currently working towards my master's degree at the university. We live in an old house in downtown Boone that we are (slowly but surely) renovating. We both love to travel, and take any opportunity we can to explore a new place.
In my free time I enjoy hiking with my dog, cooking, and working in our garden.
I'm always happy to answer any questions you might have about our cabin, Boone itself, or creating a mountain vacation that will be perfect for you. Feel free to get in touch!
