Другие важные подробности
Please note: This is in a somewhat Industrial area, and you will hear trucks driving by at all hours of the night and day. There are double pane windows on the house, as well as noise canceling curtains, however, you will still hear them. Weekends are less so.
Its actually a pretty chill and nice area, and the front yard is getting fixed up to be quite tranquil. However, if you are sensitive to random noises, then this place may not be for you.
I love this area, especially the Brewery to walk around, and there is a deli, smoke shop, tattoo shop, and kombucha store right here. It's such a unique, lively little neighborhood-feel area. Up and coming! Super close to downtown area.
Hellooooo!! Welcome to my home!
Locations of items:
Glasses/mugs – the cupboard to the right of the fridge
Plates/bowls – the cupboard to the right of the fridge
Silverware/other utensils – the furthest right drawers
Pots/pans – In the oven
Water – The alkaline water machine may not work anymore. In the meantime, take cold water from the faucet, and fill the clear water container I have supplied, and put it into the “Big Berkey” on top of the chrome cart. Dont overfill, or else it will overflow onto the cart. Just be aware of the water levels in the bottom container, versus the upper container that will empty into it.
Wine opener – Drawer to the right of the stove
French Press (to make coffee) – on the counter. Please only put used coffee grinds in the trash, as it hurts garbage disposals if you put them into the sink. Find coffee and tea in the cupboard to the right of the stove.
Bath towels/wash cloths – under the sink in the bathroom
Clothing steamer/iron and ironing table – to the left of the washer/dryer

5 Cent Diner (Or Nickel Diner) – great brunch
Garage Pizza – New York style pie or by the slice – open late
Clifton’s Cafeteria – Old School meatloaf/turkey cafeteria. Recently remodeled and re-opened. An LA staple. Also has an amazing bar with swing dancing.
Daikokuya – Japanese Ramen in Little Tokyo - long wait, cash only, well worth it
Bestia – An experience in itself. Month long waiting list, but they do have cancellations. Worth a shot.
Grand Central Market – Huge marketplace with lots of different restaurants – BBQ, Deli, Seafood, Burgers, Mexican, German
WurstKusche – Most popular spot downtown (in the arts district) – German Sausage and Beer
Bar Ama – Awesome twist on Mexican
Baco Mercat – Same owner/chef as Bar Ama – Awesome twist on Italian

Going downtown can get expensive with parking. Feel free to just Uber from here; its only around $5 to most areas of downtown.
PARKING: In the back by my back door. I will explain via the app. There are 2 spots, but one is not as easy to maneuver out of during the day before 8:30pm. Extra parking is on Darwin, the street north of Main. You can also park on Main St, but only for an hour unless it is night, or on the weekends. Please read posted signs so you don't get a ticket.
When you check out, please leave the key inside the unit, and lock the bottom lock from the inside on the door. That way it will be locked when you leave. Please clean any dishes you used (or put them in the dishwasher and start it; soap is under the sink), and put all used towels and sheets in the hamper so that I know what I need to clean.
Please only smoke outside.
The hot tub is off limits. The levels are not normal in it, and I am not comfortable with anyone using it unless I am on the premises and can supervise. I specifically made a point to not mention it in the listing as a selling point because it isn't ready for guests. Please respect that, as I know if it has been used, and is hard to re-clean at this point. Which means, it would be an extra charge to drain and re-fill. Please understand; it isn't worth it. However, there is a hose in the yard, actually 2, and you can spray each other all you want, including my plants ;) The central AC works so well, that you probably wont even feel a need to run outside to “cool off”. You can use the Standard pool for that :)
There is a noise reduction device in the bedroom, as well as an air cleaner. Use either one for noise reduction, and also to clean the air in the house.
You can sit outside on the furniture, but if you turn on the fairy lights in the yard in the lanterns, please shut them off before you go to bed. You can use the fire pit, but I do not yet have logs. If you use it, and buy logs, please do not use it without full supervision by you the whole time. I do not yet have a fire blanket underneath it to avoid sparks that will land on the faux grass, and it can either melt it, or start a fire. The grass is very expensive, so please do not overlook this responsibility.
Always lock the door when you leave and carry your key with you, and always shut the front gate. If anything looks suspicious or unsettling, please contact me and let me know! I'm happy to resolve.
Especially if you have any questions about how to use anything.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, I AM AVAILABLE BY PHONE! TEXT OR CALL IS FINE.
