Extremely Important to read before you book:

We provide very clean cozy room for maximum 2 persons which has two single beds and 2 windows that overlooking the pool side. We serve breakfast and dinner which is inclusive in the room rate for one person and we may charge for extra person 27 Ringgit. The room rate including breakfast and dinner per a night is 79 Ringgit for one person.

With good ventilation and ceiling fan and it has a sharing bathroom.

Here is our normal Home Cooking Class Program sample:
1. IKAN ASSAM PEDAS: This Spicy Sour Fish is most popular in Malacca and also in every state in Malaysia, we can replace the fish for okra and long beans if you are vegetarian.
2 KARI AYAM: Malaya Chicken Curry is another main national dish but we can replace the chicken by potatoes and chickpeas for vegetarians. If you are sensitive to the curry we can replace the whole dish by Arabian Chicken Stew which is our own signature.
3. NASI KABSAH: This special rice is cooked in chicken bones, fresh tomatoes, dry spices and some green herb leaves. but for vegetarian we can provide a different dish known as NASI TOMATO, this Tomato Rice is a traditional dish and it contains no animal-based ingredients except milk. We cook in fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, lemon- grass and pandan leaves. Another Rice from NASI LEMAK is also an option for vegetarians; it is cooked with fresh ginger, fresh coconut milk, panadan leaves, onions, and lemon grass.
4. TERUNG DAN UBI GORENG BERLADA: This FRIED EGGPLANT AND POTATO is very delicious in thick but rich moderately spiced sauce. We reduce the chilies contents according to our guests requests. It is a vegetarian dish.
5. STIR FRY MIXED GREEN VEGETABLES AND SHRIMPS: Combination of various green vegetables and fresh shrimps, all in stir fried.
6. PINEAPPLE AND CUCUMBER SALAD: True Malaysian salad good for steamy weather.
7. PINGAT PISANG DAN UBI: A traditional dessert from sweet potatoes, bananas and sago all are fresh and good for health.
8. TRADITIONAL SAMBAL: Is good for appetizing, it is not a dish but very hot spicy sauce freshly made from a mixture of variety of chili, peppers and etc.

My family I and have a full time for our guests, and we are always ready to let them know Malaysian culture and food. We can arrange special programs for our guests but not for free, and here are listed:
- Dining with us or attending our home cooking workshop
- Tour to aborigine village
- Attending Malaya wedding
- Night trip to natural hot-spring
- meeting the locals and interacting with ordinary Malays
- Tour to Malaya village
- A trip to the Pulau Besar Island where guests can have a camping and for fishing for over night stay.

We loved staying here with Os and his family. They were al helpful! The cooking course is a must (however you do have to pay a little extra!). You don't sleep at their home, but in an appartement close to their house. Melaka is perfect for a few days! It has a very relaxed atmosphere!

Meeting Os and his family was one of the highlights of our trip and made our stay in Melaka that much more enriching. Experiencing their generosity, hospitality, and culture firsthand through human connection was invaluable. I'd definitely recommend the cooking class- Os's wife is a great chef and teacher and the food is the best I've had in Malaysia. Thankful for the experiences I had here and the knowledge and recipes I get to take with me!

We have many choices for you as a guest to experience our culture and food. We have selection many amazing dishes for cooking class. Sample of 7 - 8 dish cookery program in one session:
