Hi there, I'm Joe Mottola.
I have 5 beautiful apartments in this building. Each sleeps 2 people. Each apartment totally separate, each with a queen bed, one large studio with a double bed. Each of these includes access to your own private rooftop (bookings only). Without doubt, St. Kilda’s most spectacular rooftop with panoramic views.

I'm happy to add the third person in this apartment on a mattress on the lounge floor if that suits you, provide all the linen etc. Fee is $60 per night added to the price.

I will personally greet you on your arrival and give you a familiarization tour.

This contemporary one bedroom apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of the stunning "The Face" building.

Located 6km from the city center, St Kilda is Melbourne’s seaside playground and is much-loved by residents and visitors alike. St Kilda is renowned for its expansive view of Port Phillip, safe sandy beach, palm-lined boardwalk, huge range of beach activities, big skies, gorgeous sunsets, lovely park and gardens, great restaurants, bars and cafés, fabulous old buildings, and its colorful past and present.

All year round St Kilda is the place to head for fantastic things to see and do and great times to be had. With our great places to eat and drink and our wonderful sea air, everything tastes so much better in St Kilda – so come out and join us! My only simple prerequisite is that you leave the apartment spotless. My prices are fantastic in the hope that I have little cleaning to do and you look after my gorgeous apartment like it was your own. If you're ok with that then we'll get on famously.

Step into this well appointed apartment and feel at home with a 40" plasma, iPod docking station and split system heating/cooling. A fully equipped timber veneer kitchen with Caesar stone bench tops and outfitted with Miele appliances with all cooking utensils and crockery provided.

Deluxe bedroom with very comfortable pillow top queen size bed fitted with luxury linen. It has a sparkling tiled bathroom with European laundry.

Stunning views from the balcony with double glazed glass doors.
Secure video-com entry, lift access and secure basement parking. If required, parking is available at $25 for 4 nights. For 5 nights and over, parking is $7 per night. This can be paid in cash on arrival. Please note: This carpark is a stacker, car size restrictions apply -- Height 1.5M, Width 2.0M, Length 4.9M -- this precludes many SUVs, sorry. Should you require parking please let me know in advance.

Minutes to the St. Kilda Beach, Luna Park, Palais Theater and city bound trams. Esplanade Market at your door step! It doesn't get better for a brilliant, fun stay!

Wi-fi- Local internet cafes offer a cheap rate, and there some hot spots locally that provide free wi-fi. I have a mobile wi-fi connection I can give you, you're welcome to top it up at the Telstra store (10 mins by tram) with the plan you require.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation:

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.

Please leave the apartment as you found it, respect the apartment like you would your own leaving it neat and tidy.
Particular attention to maintaining the cooktop is in a spotless condition after use. Cleaning spay and soft cloths provided. Rubbish can be disposed towards the back of the downstairs car park.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to reallocate you due to unforeseen circumstances to an apartment of equal quality and standard.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments.

It's an important pre-requisite that no guests other than the two of you are in the apartment. These are residential buildings and neighbors will complain when there are people coming and going. It's a fine balance so please let me make it clear that any form of gathering will result in instant cancellation of your booking. The building has a zero tolerance with this and it well monitored.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests unless you confirm otherwise.

Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and will result in instant termination. Noise will not be tolerated under ANY circumstances.

Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.

Please call me with an hour or so of arrival so I can arrange to meet you and show you around.

Joe was a really friendly and welcoming host and gave us some good information about the area. The apartment is in a perfect location to get the most out of St Kilda. Its nice and quiet considering the prime location. Lots of nice bars and restaurants about. The tram stops right outside which can take you to the CBD. If you like a cool quiet vibe stay here. Would have been perfect for a week stay if it had more towels and toiletries.

We were looking for a while for accommodation, we had 2 places that we instantly booked that got cancelled due to one guest wanting to stay longer and the other not being back from overseas, so she couldnt have it ready in time. We had contacted a few places, but no-one was in hurry to respond. We contacted Joe about a property, he instantly came back to us and before we knew it we had confirmed a beautiful little apartment in St Kilda. The location was great, walking distance to everything, tram at the front door. Although the apartment was compact, it was fine for the 2 of us as we were not in very much. It was very clean and modern with all the mod cons such as microwave, fridge, cooktop, oven, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher (Although we couldn't work out how to turn the dishwasher on...... Doh). Bathroom was large with great water pressure and the bed was very comfortable. Out the front was a lovely balcony overlooking the main st of St Kilda and Luna Park. Surprisingly, the apartment wasn't noisy! Once you closed the balcony door it shut out the noise. We have stayed in similar places on Southbank and in the CBD and found them to be very noisy, this apartment was a pleasant surprise. The apartment didn't come with wifi, but there was plenty availalbe in the street cafes and across the road at McDonalds Joe was a great host, met us as soon as we arrived, showed us around the apartment and building and was only ever a phone call or text away. We found him very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be recommending Joe's apartments to other friends who wish to visit Melbourne.

Lovely, genuine host. Great location to watch the trams go by. Great locality for the nightlife. VERY quiet building. Peaceful. Secure.

This place could not be better located. Just a few steps from beach, bars/restsurants and public transport. However!! When you are inside the apartment you can not hear any noise, quiet impressive. The apartment Is lovely decorated and very clean. Big comfortable kitchen, and the best part for us: A BEAUTIFUL BALCONY WITH CLEAR VIEW (not easy to find in the area). Joe is a fantastic host. Is the third time we stay at their apartment.

Perfect, comfortable apartment for 2, right in the heart of all St. Kilda has to offer! Photos and description were accurate as were all the other reviews. Joe was so helpful and had all the recommendations on where to eat and where to get good coffee. We'll definitely be back to stay here again, the location was simply perfect and the apartment everything that we needed!

Joe's place is right across from the trams and has a view of palm trees and the old theme park towards the sea. The breeze was great and we loved feeling in the thick of it. We don't mind noise but we did close the balcony door in the evenings due to people drinking and smoking below at the bars. He was incredibly helpful and told me to bug him about anything we may need. My partner got stuck in the bathroom due to a faulty lock and Joe didn't reply to my message but immediately came up and got to work on fixing it while at the same time being on the phone with his locksmith. It was funny and his handling of it was great. We would definitely stay there again. The only thing I found I didn't love was having to clean the morning of our departure but the fact he doesn't have a cleaning fee is great value.
