Our place in National Park is a great base for skiing, tramping and mountain biking. You’ll love the cottage because it's cute and really cozy with exposed timber ceilings.
It's good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids)
Our cottage is two minutes drive from the local petrol station which has a Four Square supermarket for last minute supplies. There is even a mini putt and indoor climbing wall nearby for the kids.
Closest townships: 25min from Ohakune, Taumaranui 30min
The entire house has double glazed windows to keep the heat in.
Want to unwind in a hot bath? We have an outside bath set into the covered deck looking back at the mountain.
The kitchen/dining area is small but functional. It has a microwave, electric hobs/oven, jug, toaster, fridge/freezer, coffee grinder, nutri-bullet and stove top espresso pot. The cupboards are full of supplies and we are happy if they get used if you’ve run out of something.
There is a small TV for use with the DVD player provided, a range of DVD's and a small i-pod docking station to plug in your musical device.
In the garage there is a fire surround (in case you have small children), gas heater, dehumidifier and cot. Some firewood is stacked behind the fridge in the house with the main supply of firewood stored in the garage.
The shower is GREAT! Hot and powerful with an infinity gas heating system.
You have access to the whole house. There is a numerical code for the front gate and lockbox onsite for front door.
Use our cosy cottage as your home away from home while you take advantage of everything the area has to offer
