Tranquil & secure three bedroom house located in the charming fishing village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. No big resorts, uncrowded beaches, close to the surf and centrally located for day trips to Punta de Mita, Vallarta and Sayulita. Surfboards, two beach cruisers and a two person kayak available for the use of guests.
We live in a homeowners association which requires us and our renters to abide by the following rules:
-No alcohol in the swimming pool or glass in the common area of the pool (there are plastic cups to take over to the pool area to enjoy your drinks in).
-No rambunctious or rude behavior at the pool (it is a family friendly area).
-Loud music or partying which others can hear in the house is not permitted.
-Guests who have not been confirmed on the initial reservation will not be permitted to enter the complex (for security reasons).
Breaking any of these rules may result in a fine which will be taken from the deposit.
All but one bedroom has air conditioning which can be used sparingly by guests. Please keep in mind that air conditioning in Mexico is extremely expensive and isn't comparable to prices in the United States. Please be conservative with us to help future guests avoid higher prices.
We are a married couple who are teaching abroad in Mexico. We just bought our first house and have some extra space to share. We have worked and lived in 3 different countries (and 5 different states) since completing college. We recently fell in love with Mexico, it's people and the amazing quality of life it has to offer. We love to be outside; being active. We are mellow, relaxed people who enjoy traveling and hosting travelers.
We work full time and surf in our free time. We love to discover new foods and spend time getting to know the locals in our small village; La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
Here is a short list of some of our favorites:
Music: hip hop, reggae, jam bands, indie...anything with a positive message.
Food: fresh fish from the local fish market and anything spicy.
Travel Destinations: Bali, Hong Kong, Trinidad &Little Corn Island in Nicaragua.
As your hosts, we are happy to give you your space to explore and do your thing or sit around and enjoy a meal together. We will do everything we can to help you explore the area and give you some 'insider tips' for getting off the beaten path.
