Rosemerryn cottage has a double room, a twin room, a lounge with a working fireplace, a kitchen/dining room, with a cosy Rayburn range, and a bathroom with bath and shower. There is a sofa-bed in the lounge, or we can add an extra bed or cot to either of the bedrooms if required. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels. The cottage is equipped with washing machine and central heating, electric hob and oven and a microwave. Heating and electricity included.
Standing in it's own secluded garden, Rosemerryn Cottage is hidden away in seven acres of magical woodland in the beautiful Lamorna Valley. The wood is home to a two thousand year old man made cave or temple, the Boleigh Fogou, one of a number of such Ancient Sites to be found in the far west of Cornwall. The fogou was once part of an iron-age settlement perched on a knoll above the Lamorna River, still a stream as it wends it's way past the bottom of the garden towards the sea at Lamorna Cove, a mile away.
Though off the beaten track, the cottage is close to both Penzance and St Ives, as well as some of the most beautiful sandy beaches and coves.
Guests are welcome to wander through all of the woodland, and to visit the fogou. Your dog is very welcome to join you for your stay, but please be aware that the garden is not enclosed, so he/she will need to be kept on a lead when outside.

We also live in the wood, and are available for help or advice.
