Private Bedroom with a home-made breakfast. We are the closest house to the Hood River Marina and easy walk to downtown.
Our house is near the highway and train tracks. So, there is traffic noise. The room is on the east side of our house on the main floor. It has a queen-sized bed, two side tables with night lamps. There is a closet, hooks and shelves to store your belongings. There is a fan available when it is hot (no AC). The room is heated with a central heating system. We provide all the linens, towels, shampoo and soap.
Guests have access to kitchen, living room, both bathrooms, deck, yard, lots of storage space for your sporting gear, and parking. You can use the washer and dryer in our basement. We also have a trail that can take you right down to the Hood River Waterfront.

Другие важные подробности
My husband has an office in the basement and our 20 year old daughter has a room in the attic. She travels a lot and is not here much. Our 23 year old son visits from Canada sometimes. Lorraine spends most of her time in the kitchen. We all love getting out and enjoying this area. We can give you tips on places to eat, things to do and must see attractions.
I enjoy meeting new people when I travel or when travelers come to our home. My husband and I owned Windance Sailboards (a retail and board manufacturing business) for 25 years and now we run a property rental business. I also work as a Caregiver part-time. We have two adult children whose old rooms have been converted to Airbnb rooms. My passion is food and I have taught cooking classes and been a Chapter Leader for The Weston A. Price Foundation. I currently run a foodie website. In my spare time I like to hike, windsurf, SUP and ski. I speak both Canadian and American English (Is that a cheque or a check, haha!)
